Maple Street Biscuit Company- Murray Hill

I get the sunshine 🌞 in the garden with three fresh cooked maple sausages. I love the atmosphere here. The move pretty slow at times, especially if you request freshly prepared food. Update on a different visit: September 23,2023 Someone dropped the damn pepper on my green tomatoes! I told them about it and the explained..."thats the battery we always use." NOT I eat these all the time and never have I ever wanted to run to the fire station for the hose!!! I could see all the pepper. I didn't eat these even though I paid for them. There was no attempt to rectify the concern so, it may be a while, if I return. I just ate the cold meatballs.

So good! Staff was friendly and helpful. The food was FANTASTIC! The biscuits were flaky, tender, and buttery goodness. The chicken was juicy with a crispy, flavorful, and light breading. I loved the rich goat cheese paired with the chicken and pepper jelly. It all balanced out while feeling indulgent. My brother found the buffalo sauce unique without losing is identity. I liked it but thought it was even better with the addition of the homemade ranch. The orange juice was well strained but definitely fresh squeezed. The ranch and smashbrowns were so good. There wasn't a single bite that didn't make my taste buds deliriously happy.

We are new to Jacksonville and we live in the area near this restaurant and thought we'd try this place out. The food here is outstanding and I'd definitely come back. The fresh squeezed orange juice is a MUST. Reasonably priced for really good comfort food. And the portion for just one biscuit sandwich is huge; I love it !!! I am definitely coming back and glad we checked this place out randomly. The place is staffed by a bunch of teens that aren't terribly friendly, but the food quality/portion makes up for it.

This place was recommended by our neighbors so we thought we would give it a shot. Glad we did. We enjoyed the concept. You enter the establishment almost similar to a fast food restaurant and continue with the fast food restaurant vibe. You review the menu on large printed cards then place your order at the register. Once you place your order you go take a seat wherever available. We had no issues finding an area to sit. The food was delicious. The presentation of the food was great. Reminded me of something you would see on Next Level Chef. Everything we ordered had to be eaten with fork and knife unless you wanted to go medieval on it. Was well worth it. There were several different items I would be interested in trying so I will probably return in the future to try something new. Another thing to take into consideration is they are only open until 2pm. So make sure your get up early and get going.

It was very welcoming and the staff was very kind. The bathrooms were clean and the dining area was as well. Food is always on point. I had the chicken strips they were crispy, freshly made and yummy! It comes with signature sauces as well. It’s actually my favorite spot to get chicken and waffles, this time around I went with the strips. definitely not disappointed 😋

This place is worth the calories. Stumbled on this place while getting off work and meeting up with my wife one day. When walking in it feels industrial and bright but not in an obnoxious way. The staff are supper delightful and will go up and beyond for you here. They make chick fillet assistance lack luster. The person at the register name was ray and he was so informative about the menu which is great because it being my first time and all. They do have a weird question that they ask you like who is your favorite super heart and when the food is ready they call out your hero’s name. Now on to the food. The waffle was so soft and fluffy. The amount of butter and powder sugar ratio was on point. The strawberry’s were so fresh it was amazing. If you are looking for a light and fluffy waffle this is the place. Also the fact that hey have self serve coffee is a delight. So if you are in the Murray Hill Area definitely give this place a go.

First time visitor, won't be the last. The food was delicious - ordered The Five and The Squawking Goat. I don't eat pork and the Mushroom gravy was an excellent substitute to the sausage gravy. The staff served my plate with the bacon on the side after they saw I preferred the Mushroom gravy and was very happy that they did that without me asking. The cheesy hashbrown was really good, had a kick of spiciness. Friendly staff and great energy throughout the place.
