First Watch

I absolutely loved my experience today at First Watch in Hodges Point. The spiked lavender lemonade was amazing! Cool and refreshing and you couldn't taste the alcohol. The Belgium waffle was delicious the warm syrup made it even better. Our server Amy was amazing. She was friendly and attestation and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was fast and efficient. Perfect start to my Christmas Eve.

Super pleased with this First Watch location. Brunch with my Dad a few weeks ago was absolutely amazing. The general manager, Loren Sanford, came over to ensure that all was well while there which was greatly appreciated. This location is essentially within walking distance of my home and we take our out of town guests here when I don’t want to cook breakfast/brunch. I’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience here. Highly recommend! Keep up the good work guys!

The food is great here and service was quick- My party of 2 came in on Sunday morning around 10 am and there was no wait but as we left there was. My 4 star review is because I really wanted to order off the kids menu to get 1 pancake, egg, and bacon as I don’t eat that much food and wanted a little protein with my meal, but was told that wasn’t possible. I understand it is called a “kids” menu, but I don’t think there should be discrimination against people who have food allergies or don’t eat 1000 calories of food in one sitting. I got the french toast and it was good but I don’t think a meal is complete without protein.

Always a wonderful experience. We’ve made a lot of family memories here. First Watch is our favorite breakfast out. Some of our favorites are the Parma Skillet Hash, Farmhouse Skillet Hash, Ham & Gruyère omelet, and the Elevated Egg Sandwich. And I can’t say enough about the roasted potatoes and their toast. So, so good!

We ate at this location today. The greeters were awesome and we were seated upon arrival. Blanca was our server and she was very nice. However, after our order was taken, we noticed other tables receiving their food that came in after us. After asking about the wait time, the food came out and was cold. I asked for the order to be redone and the order came back cold again. The manager Terrance came over to check on us and he assured the food would be cooked again and hot! He delivered on his promise. The food was cooked again, hot, and good. I appreciate how quickly and professionally he handled the situation! Thank you Terrance and Blanca for changing my experience into a good one. I've always had a good experience at this location, so I will return again and hopefully the food will be hot! The customer service is excellent!

Went for brunch with my 3 girls and had an amazing experience. Our server (Caitlyn) was great and the food was amazing. The general manager, Loren, came over to talk with the girls and complemented them on their drawings. Later they surprised them with a delicious dessert board. We had such a great experience and my girls were so happy. Thank you!

Catherine was so attentive and absolutely amazing even though I took up her table space for three hours. She was patient, polite and did not rush me and I appreciate it. Loren, as always walks the floor to make sure customers were satisfied from the kitchen through the dining room.. The place runs like a oil well oiled machine of happiness. I drive an additional 5 miles out to come to this one instead of southside because they never disappoint. So this location is amongst my favorite and I’m glad its in my home town. I’ve gone to many locations all over the country. I love this place and highly recommend.

Every Sunday our family looks forward to having a delicious brunch at First Watch and then spending the rest of the afternoon playing on the beach. This First Watch Location in Jacksonville is our favorite. Very attentive staff, close to the beach, clean and cozy restaurant and the food is AMAZING and always fresh.👌 The staff go above and beyond to make sure your food is done right and out in a timely manner, even though they are always super busy. Mr. Lauren is a doll, if you haven't had the pleasure of meeting him yet. Moral of the story, If you are wanting a delicious, Sunday brunch with Mimosas, healthy food options(I get Gluten Free French Toast that is To Die) fresh ingredients and just tasty comfort food, this is your spot!
