Palms Fish Camp Restaurant

The food, place, & people were all awesome! Best seafood ever! And we took pretzels home to go which were delicious afterwards also! It was storming bad, the power kept going out and a young man who was working even looked for an umbrella and offering to hold it for me and walk me out to my truck to keep me as dry as possible. Wow! I cannot say enough good things about this place! Our sever, a sweet young lady was going above and beyond, along with the cook who made the amazing huge pretzels! Thank you for a wonderful night for my husband and I !!!!! 💚

I cannot say enough good things about Palms Fish Camp. We ate there Tuesday night, a party of 10. One of the older gentlemen with us, missed his seat and fell. (He was okay) The staff members were very attentive and concerned and came back several times, during the course of the meal, and checked on him, which we really appreciated. Also, several of the guests helped with getting him up and back in his seat, which was greatly appreciated. The food and service was excellent. We live in Columbus, GA and come down every year for the GA-FL game. We stay at the Amelia Surf and Racquet Club. We have a very close friend that lives in Jacksonville and 4 years ago we started meeting her for lunch at your restaurant. We have had the same server, Tanya, each time. She is definitely an asset to your establishment. I know she has to see thousands of customers each year, and she only sees us once a year, yet she remembered us, which says a lot her and your staff. She is courteous, professional, and one of the friendliest people we have ever met. The food was excellent again. See you next year

Amazing food, scenic location on the river, and friendly staff. Florida local sea food! We really enjoyed the shrimp scampi and the blackened shrimp with cheese grits for the sides. Can't go wrong with the fried shrimp also! Word of caution for people unfamiliar with Jacksonville: the water tastes terrible. Also, coconut rice has a very chemical-like taste so we don't recommend that. It is nice that you can bring a small boat and dock up next to the restaurant!

Amazing food right in the river. My family loved this restaurant. There was a little wait for mid day on a Saturday but we got a drink at the bar while we waited. This sits right in the river with its own dock so you can stop in while enjoying the river. The food was incredible. I had the smokehouse burger, my wife had the boil (which is enormous, could feed three people), my son had the mahi tacos, and his friend had the firehouse burg. Everyone loved the food. The flavor of the food only enhanced the whole experience. And the boil was awesome! And the staff, while really busy, are just as amazing. What a great restaurant. We will be back.

Went for dinner on a Sunday evening, loved the atmosphere sitting on the outside deck! Service was great, quick, attentive and always visible for when we needed something! Got Oysters and Shrimp for an appetizer. A little pricey but tasty. The blackend Wahoo was delicious, subbed a side for a bowl of Gumbo, which was also great!! In all, a great spot for dinner if you're looking for seafood and drinks, a bit on the pricey side, but I will definitely be going back.

Decent local seafood restaurant on the water. The outdoor seating area has plenty of fans so you won’t be having a heat stroke in the summer. The seafood was delicious and fresh. Prices change so don’t rely on the prices listed on the menu. The service could improve; our server took our order and disappeared until bringing us the check at the end.
