Tijuana Flats

Have been a fan of Tijuana flats for quite some years now and just wanted to shine some light on Steven that I met at this location today. Absolutely amazing service, so very welcoming and thorough, made sure I was 100% happy and taken care of today. They store looks to be taken care of even better than before, stocked, clean and shiny. Give this man a raise and some vacation time because I know that amount of care takes a lot out of a person but you will never get a better employee!

The Tijuana Flats in River City Florida delivered one of the greatest customer service experiences of my life. We had never been to a Tijuana Flats before and didn't know what to expect. We had been busy all day so we arrived at 8:44 pm. They close at 9:00 on Sundays so I was hesitant about whether or not we would upset the staff. The experience was the complete opposite. I poked my head inside the door and the floors had just been mopped by a hard-working young woman, Amari, so I didn't want to dirty them. Steve, the manager, said "Welcome in!" I asked it they were closing and he said "Aww, don't worry about that! Come on over and lets get your order submitted." After that, he continued to show enthusiasm for his role and delivered the best customer service I've ever received. The food was better than I expected. The shrimp, beef, and chicken were all so fresh. The salsa, queso, and guac were divine. Amari made sure our drinks stayed full. Finally, while we were there, a couple of former employees came to visit. They greeted Steve with admiration and love. I could tell that he's the kind of manager who puts the customers and employees before himself. He is EXCEPTIONAL and it shows in the timely manner of food prep and quality of food.

In my opinion, this restaurant is underrated. The tex-mex is better or at least as good as the one you can find in other restaurants that are usually considered better. Lots of food for the price, fast service. Everything was tasty and fresh. I tried the cheese steak flautas dish, and it was great! I will definitely go back!

This place showed us Southern hospitality in every way. The door was held for us before we even walked up to the door and was greeted by one of the staff members Honesty. Honesty & Abby helped us with our orders and helped us with deciding what was best. The manager Nicole showed great customer service and leadership skills that is rare to find in a restaurant atmosphere. All three ladies made sure we were good with everything. The food was delicious: Queso, Salsa, everything really. Nicole told us those sides are made fresh daily in house and it definitely tastes that way. Thank you Nicole, Honesty, & Abby for making our experience at your establishment rememberable, we will definitely be back.
