Cross Creek Barbeque & Steakhouse

I gave the restaurant 4 stars because the food was good, but like most places, it was very under seasoned, even the items listed that stated they were seasoned. Our waitress was 17 (the relevance of that is because my husband ordered 2 apple martinis, of which only 1 was received at the end right before the check came). She was very professional & polite. The restaurant was lovely. It was a first-time visit for myself, and I will give it another try.

Had not been to Cross Creek in years but a friend recommended the fried squash with creek sauce (delicious).. but the grilled mixed vegetables are fabulous... Really! Grilled mushrooms, peppers, onions, etc and they are tender crisp!!!! Not overcooked. Heard that the lunch ones are best but no clue cause I don't go out at night. Coleslaw is better than most with real shredded cabbage not chopped (yuck) ... Grilled fish was just right. You can order fish at this steak house..lol

Great food location and service was fast. My server was really courteous and made sure I was comfortable and go a quality food. First time visiting and really liked it. Will visit again whenever I am in the area. Highly recommend for your choice of steak. Also the location can be easily seen from the highway and has ample parking so that wouldn't be a problem.

Update: Went for a second time on Feb 1st and tried the brisket dinner platter (picture attached). Again, a great meal. I had Tori J as my waitress this time around and she was perfect. Will definitely go back when in the area. Stopped in to try something new. Was a great meal at a great price. Was seated as soon as I came in. Ordered the Texas Combo Dinner (brisket/sausage) meal with fried okra and Mac and cheese. Everything tasted great. As a Texan I was impressed. Also the house bbq sauce was great. I had Samantha B as our server and she did a phenomenal job. Will be back in the future. (No photos due to forgetting my phone in the vehicle)

It was a Saturday and not overly busy, which was good. One side of the restaurant was pretty much for football fans to watch games and the other side was more quiet and relaxed, just how I like it. My server was excellent and so was my food. I had parmesan crusted boneless chicken and fries with fried okra. Absolutely perfect. Will definitely dine again.
