Tequila's Mexican Restaurant

I’ve eaten here both sit-down and takeaway tens of times at this point. The quesabirra (quesadilla) is my favorite on the east side of Jacksonville by far. The food is always piping hot and fresh, not to mention incredibly tasty. The prices are certainly reasonable, especially for the quality of food they offer. I’ve had the occasional minor mess up or missing item, but it is always enjoyable regardless. You will not be disappointed!

Our first time in for lunch & the food was fresh & delicious!!! We had the homemade guacamole made with all fresh ingredients & chunks of avocado. I had the Fajita burrito with steak, chicken & shrimp. It had amazing flavor & was huge! The shrimp were large & fresh & spread throughout the burrito. I don't like spicy, so this was a perfect dish for me. Their drinks were very tasty & prices for food were decent. We will definitely be back!!!

Overview: First time here. I loved the atmosphere, the food was great, and the staff was excellent. The bar was well equipped, and the brinks were made as they should be. However, the restrooms needed some work as there was only one sink working, and the towel dispenser was open and out of hand drying towels. I am sure the restrooms will be taken care of soon. What to know: There is a small area of outside seating—plenty of room in the restaurant. The bar seats quite a few. Overall the restaurant was pretty clean, and the service was prompt. I will be returning.

What a wonderful Mexican Restaurant located within a strip mall anchored by. Modern Winn Dixie. First plenty of parking as our group of 15 arrived at 12 Noon for a Pool Group lunch. It was great for all of us to get together first since March of 2020 when things locked down. Service folks still abide by mask and COVID rules so that's great. Service was top notch with 2 servers and a manager who assisted and made sure all our meals were just what we expected. We had at least 12 different meals so listing them is impossible but everyone enjoyed. Simply no reason not to stop in and enjoy. Seating is excellent with both inside and outside available as well as bar seating.
