Maple Street Biscuit Company - Point Meadows

Food is amazing and worth the wait! The line to order was very long and people that ordered after us did get their food first (not sure if it’s because it was a simpler order). It’s a different dining experience, you order at a counter, find a seat, wait to be called for your food, make your own coffee, and you clean up after yourself. I didn’t mind it but others might.

An absolute pleasure. My wife and I stopped in before our cruise for a quick bite. This place did not disappoint. We kept it simple and ordered 2 of the Retro Biscuits (bacon, egg, and cheese & crispy chicken biscuit) plus two specialty coffees. You could tell the food was made by hand and not some mass produced garbage. Highly recommend for anyone that has one of these locations near you.

You might first scoff at Maple Street for tales of the biscuits being overrated, or for the menu serving comparatively pricy biscuit sandwiches. Make no mistake, though, Maple Street has some of the best most flakiest biscuits in the Jacksonville area. When you receive your monster biscuit, you know you truly have gotten your money's worth. Impossible to eat without a fork and knife. The all-you-can-drink self-service coffee is also great for people who want to sit and chat with their loved ones over breakfast. Only criticism is that Grumpys serves the same quality of hot honey biscuit sandwich for about $3 cheaper, but they're a much farther drive for most folks compared to the convenience of Maple Street's many locations.

Came here, after competing in a bodybuilding show, for brunch one Sunday and maybe that is why the food was so good haha. But it was very delicious! Everything on the menu sounded so good but I chose the Squawking Goat chicken biscuit. You can ask for the pepper jelly on the side; it is similar to a sweet and sour sauce with a hint of spice. The dressed biscuits are pretty big, dense, and filling so one is enough with a side. The place was busy but we got to order pretty quickly and sit, just took a minute for the food to come out. From where we sat you can see the biscuits being made, ours was super fresh. The coffee isn’t the best, so don’t go for the coffee but the biscuits and eggs, *chefs kiss*. I would definitely come back here forsure.
