Lum Thai Restaurant

Service was quick, friendly. Quality of food was fantastic. Also the attention to detail when the dishes are presented. The dishes will make their food look like happy faces or roses depending on the meal. And of course quality of taste was great! Slightly cheaper than most thai places I think so I would so appropriate cost.

Everything was perfect! Portion sizes were great, service was excellent, prices were very good, and the presentation of everything was phenomenal. For fans of spice, I got Thai hot and the spice tray that was brought out with entrees had 4 delicious sauces and chili oils. We will definitely be returning! I have visited many Thai restaurants in Jacksonville and this one is by far the best priced and most delicious place of them all.

Okay, full disclosure… my wife and I love Thai food and have tried several different Thai restaurants. I guess you can say we’re Thai foodies. 😁 Quite a few Thai restaurants have disappointed, but not this one. Due to our visit frequency, we have made friends with the owner, Hung. I guess we just love this place. It’s a hidden gem. Their food is authentically Thai… always fresh, always tasty and never disappoints. We’ve dined in and taken out and the food quality is still top notch no matter which way we choose to eat. We’ve brought other family members and friends to eat with us here and their reviews have been raving as well. The dining room isn’t very large so it can get crowded, especially since they have gotten popular. Regardless, it’s still a good experience. They keep it clean and the atmosphere is pleasant and quaint in the Thai way. If you want to dine in, avoid the lunch & dinner rush. When dining in, their service is always top notch. Hung is attentive, pleasant and always smiling. English is not her first language, so if you’re going to make any change or special request that is different then what’s on the menu, make sure she understands exactly what you are wanting. This is most definitely one of my favorite restaurants! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!

We were visiting the area from Orlando. Thai food for dinner sounded like a good idea. We searched on Google and found Lum Thai, and we were very glad we did. My wife had the Sweet & Sour with Shrimp and I had Panang Curry with Shrimp. Both were very good. Portions were larger than expected, prices were great, and the service was outstanding. We have several days left here in our visit, and we have already decided to return to Lum Thai before we leave.

Good portion of yellow curry, but not enough rice by far. The rice is very pretty and cute, just not enough. They charge $3 for extra rice. There was a large half-dead belly-up cockroach in the lady’s restroom, which is all the way in the back area. The roach’s legs were still kicking. Maybe the owner can do some more pest spray. Other than that, good food and clean dining area. Not enough rice for lots good curry sauce.

This place might be my new favorite Thai restaurant. The sweetest lady greeted us, she was very attentive! The food was sooo delicious and the presentation of the food was so cute! If I wasn’t so hungry I would’ve just stared at the food instead! Lol. Not only was it cute and delicious the portions were also VERY generous. Well deserved 5 stars 🤩🌟
