Bono's Pit Bar-b-q

There was a couple outside in the parking lot that was cutting up with us all the way inside as we sat down. They just made my day. The other couple was just awesome friendly, funny and I'm going to say it, they were an African American couple. And I love it when I experienced that because there's too much hate in this world anymore with opposite races.. Then the waitress was great also. And there was a man that look like was probably a manager that came out and was helping the waitresses either way it's nice to see co-workers helping co-workers.

If you are on the Westside and you have not been to this Bono's - what ya waiting on? It is delicious 😋 The staff is lovely and they keep it nice from what we could see and experience. We are a tough and picky crowd to please, so I truly wish I could remember the gentleman who took care of us and our Togo order. He had a great sense of humor and was super patient. This place is great for that relaxed date or for taking the family out. We decided to have a mini date and take food home to the kids, everyone's happy 😊 😃

We are in Jacksonville for work and we stopped here for dinner. My husband was a little nervous because bbq can easily suck. This place is amazing!!! Better than Sonny’s in my opinion. Our server Kayla was great and on top of everything! The only thing that wasn’t great was the bread. We only spent $53 bucks too!

Every aspect of this place was AWESOME! All products on the menu are made to perfection. The 2-3 meat salad is so amazing, I could order the pulled pork with coleslaw sandwich every day of my life, the ribs are to die for, the chicken strips are superb especially with the Ken's honey mustard... OMG!!! all the dressings are great & THE HOMEMADE BREAD PUDDING IS SO DELICIOUS! Now that's not even the best part .. The staff is something else..their teamwork definitely makes the dream work. Thank you to everyone there for making my simple lunch so special. You all really show how much you love & appreciate your job, your crew mates as well as all your customers. The customer service here should be shown to all service industries as a great example for their training specialists to teach others how it's done. I want to thank Nick T especially for representing his great work ethic, character and integrity in his position as he served us. Just Outstanding! Thanks BONO'S STAFF.

While doing a little shopping in J-ville today with my oldest daughter we stumbled across this wonderful BBQ place. We only waited a little while but once we got a table the server was very kind and polite. The food was Amazing starting with the fried okra. It was perfect. The ribs were moist and seasoned perfectly. The chicken was equally tender and moist. The beans and the Mac and cheese were on point. I’m looking forward to coming back soon. Visit a location near you. You won’t be disappointed I assure you.
