Social Grounds Coffee

First visit to SOCIAL GROUNDS since moving back into Springfield. PAULA was a great help introducing me to the different pastries and muffins available. Grabbed a berry & cheese Danish with my BLACK EYE(with a drop of honey and just a touch of 1/2 and 1/2), both of which I'm now enjoying on our front porch at home. Inside looks like a great place to chill in the morning with friends. Maybe I'll see you there soon. Two week later update. Popped in for another Black Eye(still seems funny having to ask for one) for me, and a cinnamon bun to start off the wife's birthday day. Both were great!! Met Lexie(forgive the spelling, if it's incorrect. I should have asked). Very nice and personable. Great service. Welcome to mornings, ma'am. Everyone be well.

I called to inquire about a gift card purchase for a friend that lives in the Springfield area. I am out of state and since there was no option to order a gift card online and mail it out myself, the wonderful employee that answered the phone helped me with purchasing the gift card and offered to personally deliver it to my friend in the area. This is service I have never been offered or received anywhere. How kind and thoughtful to help out a complete stranger. I will definitely be making a point to stop in when I travel to that area next to personally thank Paula, and of course grab a delicious cup of coffee! If any of you are in the area and run into Paula, please show her some extra love. She is wonderful!

We had a great time at Social Grounds. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The overall atmosphere vibes were excellent. Our coffees and pastries were very good. Also these guys have the best selection of beans I’ve seen in Jax. I had the pleasure of meeting the the owner Jason who was super knowledgeable about coffee and happy to share. Will be making the drive to visit this place again.

This was my first ever coffee shop that I tried l. I still need to go back because when I went they were out of pastries to try. The guy working behind the counter was extremely nice and I think they are dog friendly but I am not 100% sure. There was a lady sitting inside with her dog and it didn’t bother me one bit. I will definitely go back.
