This is been the absolute best food chain of seafood restaurant I have ever done that when I was a child I would definitely love this place every other occasion I've one day when I have kids I would introduce them to this place can I one day have a husband of my own and introduce them to this place and I have enjoyed the best-ever hush puppies and all the other foods are so good I would crave them and i would love to sincerely say thank you

About the only fast food joint still worthwhile. Huge respect for the franchise owner for paying for great employees. Every experience is perfect. Thanks. Everyone from the high school aged cashier to the shift manager. They all give fantastic service and the food is always consistent for the price as well. 💯🍊😁

I absolutely love the Captain D’s located at 5640 University Blvd W Jacksonville, Fl 32216. The food is always hot and delicious and the employees are professional and kind. This all stems from the leadership that they are witnessing and following from their management. One in particular is Rich, he shows a “Wow Factor” in his Leadership Skills and Customer Service Skills. I ordered a lot so not to hold up the line they asked me to park and they would bring my food out, Rich didn’t send one of his employees he actually brought my food to me hisself. When he brought my food I asked for my drink to be replaced, Rich didn’t frown or give me a look he said yes ma’am and went and got me another drink. I advised him that I thought he was a great manager and that I appreciated his superior service. This is the only Captain D’s I will go to, thank you Rich!

I initially went to Checkers up the road and received HORRIBLE SERVICE AND GREASY NASTY FOOD. I politely asked for my money back and came to Captain D's to received THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FRESHLY COOKED FOOD!!!! The Woman in the drive thru was thoroughly and extremely professional and very politely. This will be my FIRST next time!!

This establishment had a rocky course coming out of the pandemic. I would stop in for lunch, only to find it closed, or just the drive-thru operating. I know they were experiencing major staffing issues. But here in 2023, things have greatly improved. It seems they have some stability in the workforce. The staff there are efficient and polite. The food, is on point. I especially enjoy the new spicy battered fish. I know longer have to smother their regular fish in hot sauce. All in all, a great meal, that is healthy as well.
