I love this place!!! They have the best chicken sandwich in the world. They have homemade pickles that are to die for! The lobster jalapeño hush puppies are my new favorite app.

First time here and it is awesome. Chef Tre came around and talks to everyone. Great guy. Cares about his work and patrons. All the staff was great. Place is tucked away in a corner of a strip-mall with decor and food of the Caribbean. Next time I’m in town, I will be back.

Cafe has been around for a bit but recently Chef Trey has taken over the kitchen and the lunch I had was so good! Very good Caribbean Fare. I had the Cuban sandwich and the special appetizer of the day was Lobster hush puppies with blue cheese. Can't wait to go back and try other things

Black fly is AMAZING! Not only was the food delicious, hot, delivered fast, but our server very attentive friendly. Top it off, the Chef came out to ask our opinion of the service and food, appeared truly interested in our feedback. Chicken Mojo wss Devine, craft beer selection great + cold. Keep it up guys! Ladies this is the cleanest restaurant in Jacksonville including the bathrooms. Great relaxing atmosphere, nice wine selection and friendly wait staff. The conch fritters are the best I have had here and the Cuban sandwich as good as the keys. Check out this hidden treasure!!!!

Me & The Husband Tried Trigger Fish For The First Time And It Was The Best Piece Of Fish I Ever Had. We Had The Fried Fish And It Was Light And Flaky And Crispy Without A Heavy Batter. The Key Lime Pie And The Chocolate Brownie With Ice Cream Is Delicious. We Love Our Waitress Christian And Chef Bryant, They Both "Rock".😍

I was in St. John's and wanted something different. This place checked that box for me. If you love friendly service and great food and beer this is the place for you. Also if you are just looking for some fly fishing gear or any other outdoor gear this place has you covered in spades. Thanks for a great lunch. I cant wait to visit the full restaurant in St. Augustine

Always heard great things about Blackfly from my coworkers and since it's walking distance from the office, I decided to give it a try for lunch. It's hidden in a small strip so I wasn't expecting much, but when we walked in, I was so pleasantly surprised. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The menu had such an interesting mix of choices that I had a difficult time making a decision. Finally settled on the Blackfly Shrimp and Grits...superb. Will definitely be back!

Some of the best seafood, burgers, shrimp and grits, and a great selection of beer, including locally brewed, in Jacksonville. Next door to Blackfly Outfitters and Strike Zone fishing, so you can shop after you eat! If you have ever had the wonderful experience of eating at the Blackfly restaurant in St. Augustine, the cafe is owned and operated by the same owners.
