My absolute favorite seafood restaurant. My parents introduced Matties to me as a child and I am 34 now and I am still in love with everything on the menu and awesome service. The owner and his daughter are awesome. Go get you some old school down home seafood!

Mattie has a great menu, food is delicious great staff everybody love Mattie food. You got to get there early. Long lines but this is a great place for SEAFOOD.

I am a seafood lover. Yes...both. See food and love it 😜 and seafood lover. Teehee. Found these people while googling seafood. I was still on the hunt for mullet fish after Odell’s and I stumbled upon this gem. So. Outward appearance leaves a lot to be desired. A matter of fact I circled the building twice to see if I was in the right place. It’s between a funeral parlor and Tunis. One of the reviews said the owners loved the Gators... so I felt self conscious with my FSU shirt on... but it was unnecessary. I was greeted with a smile. At lunch service was rather quick. At night time there was some delay due to the long line. But well with the wait. My fave two things from here right now? Scallops and deviled crab cakes. Like. I ate the first time and went back again. You fast asleep if you have not stopped to visit this place. They are only opened 3 days a week.

Mattie's seafood is really really really good. Reasonable prices and is good in quantity. The most tender fries gizzards you ever want to eat. Everything is just so good. So stop by Mattie's seafood I don't think you'll be disappointed, I know I wasn't.

Cash only but the best fried seafood on the Northside. Plus the owners are die hard Gator Fans and you can't beat that.

They don't have a sign. Find it by address and blue roof. Best shrimp and cooked perfect. Friendly family service. Support and give them some love! Great job...🌺
