Steak 'n Shake

It just seemed like the employees were just hanging out at the register. There looked like there was plenty to do. It doesn't take 5 girls to take an order. The chairs and floor were dirty. They were wiping the table tops with the same dirty wet rag. I wiped our table and booth seat off with my sanitizer. We didn't get our entire order at the same time because they forgot. How do you forget this food order, when the order is on a computer screen right in front of you? The fries came out mildly cool and very hard. However, my onion rings were exceptionally good.

My son loves steak n Shake. So we usually grab it 1x every week or 2 after baseball practice. The food is good BUT you can never get what you ask for. We like the garlic on the top of our buns but not the garlic mayo. It doesn't matter how you try to word it they cannot get it right. But needless to say with a few more explaining we usually end with it correct. The fries need more salt. Doesn't matter on day we go they always need more salt!

Food was fresh & delicious. Loved the variety of burgets to choose from. Onion rimgs are perfect & so so tasty. We ordered at the kiosk. Our number was called quickly. However our milkshakes were not made. We ordered 3 as our drinks. When we asked for them at the counter we were told someone else makes them, instead of the staff just finding out what the issue was. Cone to find out the person never made them. So we ate without drinks until the shakes were finally made. This particular location was not busy at all. Trash cans full & dirty. Only 2 people sitting eating when we arrived. Hard to find a place to sit down and eat with all the dirty tables and chairs. Burgers are juicy and delicious. Awesome milkshakes but yeah, the place needs a lil attention. Staff need to work on their customer service skills. I don't know if there was a manager at this location or not. I really couldn't tell. There was also a young man in a subway uniform that came in, sat down, was on his phone cussing and using tje N word. This is something that should have been addressed by a manager. It was very clear that this individual was on a break from the subway shop next door. He didn't order food. Just sat down to be ignorant, misbehaving and using foul language while customers were trying to eat with their children 😐. I'd eat at steak & shake again. However this location is questionable.
