Bassil's Pizza & Subs

I got delivery through Grub Hub a little while ago, and it was my best delivery experience in a long time. Having never tried Bassil's before, I wanted a broad sampling. The food was really good. I had shrimp & scallops, jalapeno poppers, fried mushrooms, pizza & cheesecake with topping. There's a few things I'd do different next time. The scallops were a bit overdone and I realized I just don't like them as much as shrimp, which were pretty perfect. Next time shrimp all the way. The pizza was done just fine - medium dark on the bottom and tasty sauce that's not too sweet. The cheddar poppers were outstanding, as were the mushrooms. The cheesecake would've been better to my taste if I'd just left it plain, as it had that bright red cornstarchy syrup as a topping. I almost took some berries out of the freezer to add to it, but I was too fat and lazy to bother. I know I don't live very far from here, but the speed of the order and delivery was mind boggling. From the time I placed the order until it was dropped off was under half an hour. I have no complaints about Bassil's or Grub Hub. Ate off it a couple days and was full and happy.

Great variety of different types of food cooked to order so it's always fresh and they do take call-in orders so you won't have to wait long once you arrive. My family has been going here for over fifteen years and we have never had an issue. I highly recommend them although it is a smaller restaurant you would never guess from the taste and quality of the food.
