Chicken Country

I always loved going here and getting there cabbage but I want be going back. I paid almost $14 yesterday for cabbage and it was nasty. I called them and told them they said they would let there boss know today and they would call me I’m still waiting on the call. I don’t think they will call me. They have changed the way they make there cabbage and it isn’t good at all. They put something that’s a dark green color it looks like there adding collars they say it’s cabbage but it doesn’t taste like cabbage. I almost forgot we didn’t eat it we put it back in the cup. We couldn’t because the dark green pieces didn’t taste done.

The pre cooked chicken & fish was placed under heating lamps and the texture of the meat were hardened from being there so long. My chicken I couldn't eat because the batter on the chicken was peeling off and the meat was hard like old instead of fresh. Meats are not cooked as ordered ribs are wrapped in foil along with unseasoned veggies and cold hard cornbread muffins sitting out in warming trays.We payed $34.00 plus and we feed our food to the cats also it's not the cleanest place and it's a small place although there was 3 employees in front not counting the ones in the back! I will never go back the name is misleading Chicken Country!

This place is very popular in the area for the chicken and livers. The food is very good but uou will be paying for the quality of the food and service and they havr great service, never Disappointed in the food or the service. 4 stars only because im very cheap and think it could be just alittle cheaper

Best place around to get good, fried chicken livers. They're always fresh and never over cooked like most places. The rolls must be homemade because you can taste the yeast in them as you should. A few of the side dishes are sweeter than I like but I know some folks like them that way so it's alright there's plenty that I do like.

excellent customer service excellent food my only issue. Was $30 for this sure I had some great food some of the best food I've ever ate but I don't know if this is $30 you be the judge just for clarification. This was a popcorn chicken meal. a chicken gizzard meal. With two sweet teas. And two slices of pecan pie.
