The Handlebar

First I have to tell you I absolutely love think crust pizza. Do this is our first trip with another couple to eat at the Handlebar. Walking inside the place was very neat inviting, it has a theme of bicycles and related items. there are televisions located on the walls throughout the bar obviously today was a sports day thanks enjoying football games. We were taken to a table in the middle of the bar area centrally located amongst all the television so we had a great view for anybody that was sitting at the table. The owners were there greeting us friendly place that had beer special 5 for $10 we ordered that while we looked at the menu. We ordered two different thing crust pizzas and a appetizer of their homemade hand battered onion rings.enjoying a couple beers watching the game having a snack waiting on the pizza the pizza arrived and they looked phenomenal.navigate to say I was totally impressed that their thin crust we had a very nice crispy texture to it the flavoring was excellent on the pizza everyone enjoy them. I have to say the food in the quality is quite High we will be making numerous return trips I suggest if you're in the area give them a try.

Was in town for work and decided to duck in. Wow the Jeannie’s thin crust pizza was amazing! I also ordered the mushrooms which I also recommend. My guest ordered a White Russian ... which I was told was delicious. Very comfortable atmosphere, most all tables full. Enjoyed the my evening, thank you very much.

I decided to give them a second chance even though a few months ago I didn't have a good experience with the taste and quality of food ordered. While hanging out with friends, someone suggested ordering from here, I have now learned my lesson this time. Maybe my expectation if too high for bar food, but the pizza I received was undercooked and I had better toppings on a frozen pizza from the store. I would not recommend wasting your time or money ordering food from this place. They said delivery was going to be 35-45minutes, I should have known it was not a good thing when it arrives in almost half the amount of time. I don't think rushed food = good food.

Pizza was okay. Waitress was okay. I had a thin crust pizza and it wasn't what I was expecting....Im use to getting value for my pizza, this had little cheese, barely enough sausage on it to enjoy it...the crust was just to thin for words....I think I need to order deep dish if I ever come back.... also I wish the kitchen could keep their swing doors closed, I felt like they were staring at our table in the dining room

Fantastic thin crust pizza! I meant to write a review last night after dinner, but I fell asleep so I’m doing it now just before I hit the road... it was THAT good! They delivered to my truck here at Love’s in Jacksonville, Il. I ordered the Jeanie’s special and it had the perfect amount of fresh ingredients w a super thin crust and fabulous cheese! I will definitely make this a stopping point on my trips through Illinois. To the state of Illinois - you guys freaking know how to do pizza!!!

Service was amazing. Food was delicious and fairly priced. Would definitely reccomend this place to all my friends and family. Great daily specials, huge portions, food is always hot. The outside, upstairs patio is beautiful with a great south facing view of Jacksonville.Will be returning frequently for social outings.
