Firehouse Subs

I am ADDICTED to the big steamer sandwich... it is so incredibly good. The meat is juicy and tender and always fresh, the service is always impeccable and the establishment extremely clean. I love love love the sandwiches here and highly recommend you try them out if you haven't. OH, and their pickles are amazing lol

Make sure to order double meat. Their pastrami double meat and engineer fillings in the sandwiches are delicious. We find the bread too thick. Just too much bread. We wish they have a flat bread option. Also, this was a 2nd choice. Service was good. We wanted to order from minute man but it's permanently closed.

Firehouse is normally a fantastic place to have lunch but this was a huge exception. Service was extremely poor. Cashier was obviously not wanting to be there, never smiled, barely spoke and never once said thank you. At least 6 workers on a slow day with maybe 4 families and the trash cans were overflowing, lots of empty tables nit wiped down and food all over the floor. The bags holding the subs were covered in grease along with the utensils and containers and even the enormous stack of napkins which were definitely needed. Thankfully the food was still tasty.

My wife and I love firehouse subs. WE will not ever go back to the jacksonville on harden drive again. They dont wear head hair nets and my wifes sub has a hair in it!...I did call and the manger did say she replace it BUT who wants to eat hair and take a chance on hair in the sandwich again . They all need to wear head nets
