🙏Honest Review🙏 Too long didn't read - "Little left to be desired & not worth the money." Full review : walking down Newark Ave is really a hit or miss trying to find some good food. There are few places that do give you a good experience but this place isn't one of them. I'm pretty new to the area and come from great service and great food. This place had neither. We sat down and the menus were pretty raggedy, dirty, and looked like they barely care about them. Presentation was horrible. We sat for about 15 minutes waiting for a server but I walked to the bar and was told that's where you place your order. There was no signs or any indication of that so it was pretty weird. So finally we ordered got drinks from the bar and asked for a beer. She gave me a can which was tacky af instead of pouring it into a glass like any restaurant would. Fast forward 30 minutes later or food arrives. We ordered the "steak tacos" and salmon burger. The tacos were pretty my much dry, no flavor and really nothing on it but two pieces of onion and steak. The salmon burger was pretty much dryer than ever, no sauce and came with fries.. Fries were about the only thing they got right. For $15 dollars you get three tacos with nothing on them, taste plain, and not worth the price. I was expecting a bit more hey what can you do. In the end what can you do.. Last but not least I got the $45 bill for essentially what was 3 tacos, one beer and a salmon burger with a coke. I would have left a nice generous tip as I usually do but the service was nonexistent, servers are no where to be found and food took forever. Server cared more about the people outside than the people inside. One last note, anothed bar tender came to clear our table and saw the tip I left and gave me a dirty look. Don't come to the place for food or service. Buy drinks and go.

This is one of the best bars in downtown Jersey City. The servers, like Summer and John, are institutions of themselves, active members of the theater, arts and music community. The curator, Andrea, constantly sets up thought-provoking shows including the local artists, and it always makes for a great time to peruse the installation and appreciate the hand-picked pieces along the walls. The "art bar" also hosts many other events, including live music and karaoke. Finally, besides a creative and ample drinks selection, they also offer more economic choices, like cans of Founders for $5, which is always appreciated. The music is never too loud and there is always something interesting on the televisions! Stop in!

service was poor. food was abysmal. i ordered a salmon burger and fries and the person i was with ordered tacos. my burger was barely seasoned and dry as hell, the mango salsa that came with the burger was literally a few cubes of mango on the plate and not actually on the burger. fries were nice. my partner's tacos consisted of dry meat and onions. no sour cream, no cheese, no lettuce or anything that could provide moisture to the over cooked meat. very disappointing. avoid.

This will always be my favorite place to drink. Their food is really good as well. I love the melon martinis.... and if you're a good boy, they will make you a watermelon martini. They have the best fried zucchini and wings... Go and have fun. My favorite days Are Thursdays and Fridays. ... stop by on Sundays for the Iconic Lip Sync brunch...

Finally got in here to eat and I really enjoyed it. The drink specials are interesting and well priced and they have different dinner specials as well. The normal menu has plenty of good choices but I've only ever had the specials because they're always very interesting. It's a little loud and it's not 100% my atmosphere but I will be going back.
