Doshe Korean Bbq

We went for dinner and ordered a whole bunch of food. So I'll rate everything we ordered. Watermelon Sujo: 3/5 Chicken Wings: 4/5 Cheese Bul Dak: 5/5 Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap: 2/5 Kimchi Bokum Bap: 4/5 (Not in the photo) Over all I'd give it 3 stars for the food. Another star for the service. Really nice staff. I thought the Dol Sot was a little bland. The cheese Bul Dak was exceptional! It's a must try.

Best service. The owner(good-looking chinese guy) was super kind. We made a comment about the dish that had funny taste to it.. he offer to gave another dish and didn't charge for both. They were very honest about everything. And the Korean server (cute looking guy ) was extremely nice. Kept asking if we need anything else. Hope they do awesome with their business. Thank you~both. We'll come again.

I had a date night here with my husband and we had a lot of fun. We ordered the chicken/pork/beef platter BBQ. Our waiter cooked everything in front of us. It came with a bowl of tofu soup, a bowl of custard, and a small bowl of rice. We also were given small bowls of vegetables when we first sat down. It was plenty of food and I would recommend going with a group of 4 people or more. Our waiter was super nice but another waiter made us feel rushed to leave since we were one of the last tables. I would definitely go back but just earlier the next time so I can check out the karaoke too.

I was excited to see a BBQ place in Jersey City. That being said im not sure if this place will make it very long. The price for 2 people to eat and have one drink for one of 2people was $80 plus. The meat was really good, the side dishes were scarce and although they are unlimited. The niso soup had fish even though it was supposed to only be veggies. The service was nice but a little awkward. Im sure they can work out the kinks the place just opened. They were very attentive but I can tell the crew needs more experience. The look is big and open but i think its off of the main strip and not everyone realizes its here. It was not terrible but the prices are what i believe are its biggest problems. Its not somewhere you can go often, and its not good enough to make me feel like treating myself to it occasionally. The place is nice but it needs to change up a few things before it can be a 5 star experience.
