Ample Hills Creamery

I have waited 5 years to try Ample Hills Ice Cream since I got their cook book in summer of 2016. We are from Ottawa, Canada and stopped by today in Jersey City with our three kids. We got there at 1pm and it said Open online and the sign was flipped to Open, but it was locked and no staff were there. We waited for 10 minutes, but no staff showed up. We had other time sensitive plans for the rest of our trip, so this was our only opportunity. Very disappointed. Still, this creamery still seems magical and alluring to me! Can't wait to try it someday...

The quality of ice cream here is really good. I have usually stuck to the more traditional flavors they offer and have never been disappointed. My friends have gone for more adventurous choices and they keep coming back. I guess that is the best endorsement :) They do need to work on organizing their store a little though. Make a place for people to form a proper queue so that they don't need to stay outside in heat because the staff hadn't set a proper line inside. Also im general the team is pretty slow.
