The cocktails are all amazingly crafted and are unique in the way that they're arranged according to texture. The food menu could use a bit more variation though- drinking makes you hungry

Must go!!! The cocktails are insane, such an innovative place. Good fun and a great bar. Starters are good, mains are okay. Go for the drinks and snacks.

This is a beautiful bar with an amazing intimate vibe. The service was amazing, our bar tender Mich was so helpful and also gave us a tour of their lab where they use science to create this incredible cocktails, some of which take up to three days to prepare! I never realized how much could go in to making cocktails, it was so interesting. Apparently they were rated in the top 10 new bars i the world and I can see why

The atmosphere is great. The waiters are knowledgeable and helpful. It was a bit loud so we struggled to hear our waiter but fortunately the menu is self explanatory. The different cocktails are really good, it's really difficult not to have more than one. We didn't eat anything :(

I'd give this bar top marks for its cocktails - which are completely original and meticulously crafted in their lab which you can visit if you get your timing right. They're passionate about what they do and it's a lot of fun to explore their menu.

What an interesting space. I really enjoyed my time there. The cocktail menu is so much fun. I did not get to eat during my stay but the energy and space was pleasant. The service staff are attentive, proactive and helpful. I couldn't fault a thing. I am keen to go back and try out their food. Also they have a roof top!! It's such fun

A fun new spot. All themed around medicine. The cocktail making room, seen through glass, looks like a science lab, but they make up some amazing concoctions.
They won't tell you the ingredients so you order rather by flavour notes.
The Food is delicious too. Mostly interesting variations on traditional South African.
It's not cheap at all, but it's fun to experience.

Amazing establishment! Never had a better cocktail than at Mooteebar. The Bartenders are scholars of their craft and leaders in their field, and as such, are equipped to create a wide variety of beautiful drinks that taste fantastic while not being unreasonably priced. Thank you for the incredible cocktail experience with every visit!
