Al's Steakhouse

Been to Als a few times now, the ambiance is that of an old school steakhouse. We’ve always had good service, friendly and prompt. Soup and salad with entrees is nice and the warm rolls are quite good. As far as the food, its average. Greek potatoes are good as well as the twice baked potatoes. Both steaks I’ve had are bland and overpriced. Chicken Marsala was dry and the sauce thick. I will say that the Athenian chicken was very good. We will come back to try some more but in my opinion, I wouldn’t go for the steak.

A nice sit down steakhouse with many options. The food was fresh. Soup and salad was included. They brought rolls and butter which was nice. I ordered a fish entree which was nicely cooked, but they could of added more seasoning, it was bland for the price. Overall a nice experience. The server was very nice.

Great local restaurant that has been around for decades. Do not be deceived by the outside, inside is beautiful, especially during the holidays when they have it decorated. The food is wonderful! The meats were fall off the bone tender and the soup was lick the bowl good. The waitress was attentive and kind. You should definitely get a reservation so you don't have a wait. Support this local business so it will be around for many more decades to come.

Ive been going to Al’s for 3 years now. Ive never been disappointed. Tonight the lovely bartender suggested the Halibut (I usually get steak) and this was the absolute best decision ive made!! The capers, white wine, mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach blended sooo well together. Im in love all over again. Great service- amazing atmosphere- at a reasonable price. White table cloth dinner service without the 3-figure price! Will continue to bring all my employees/friends/family here!

I along with 6 Past Commanders of Joliet Commandry of Knights Templar stopped for lunch after a long day of charity work. The wait staff was very kind and at the top of their game. Food was great and delivered to our table with speed and professionalism. We had several different types food and we all loved it ❤️

Al's decor, food and service was all top notch. Al's Steak House was the best restaurant experience I have ever had. I was there for my anniversary with my beautiful wife of 9 years. Everyone that worked there made sure we had a magical evening. Our server Maggie was on top of everything. The food was amazing. The steaks were cooked to a perfect medium. They were tender, juicy with a fantastic crust. We sat in a booth with just the right lighting for an intimate date. This was my first time at Al's but it will not be my last.

I really wish i can rate this restaurant as a 4.75. I always enjoy the food at Al's. I have been a customer at least for the past dozen years and the food is never a disappointment. I eat out frequently and LOVE seafood. They have good crab legs and you can't find many lobster tails in this area that matches the quality of Al's. The customer service is also good...I have no complaints.
