Dan's Candy is a go to stop on our stay in Crest Hill from Florida. It's reminiscent of years gone by. My dad always bought the candy for my mom on special occasions. Now, I bring back these delicious chocolates home to my family. The homemade caramels are to die for!

A Joliet staple. Support small local businesses! This candy is so much better than the chocolates you get mass produced in the stores. Also don’t forget to stop in during the fall for they’re amazing caramel apples. When the kids go back to school is when they start and the last day is usually Halloween. Highly recommend this place!

This place is gold! We've only recently discovered it since we live an hour away. But now we make time to stop here whenever we are close. Those peanut butter smidgens are heaven!

First caramel apples of the year!!! My mom and dad got these every year from the time we were little. They use to bring them home in a box because there was 7 of us. I always stop the first week they are out and now my grandchildren get them!! I live 45 minutes away a d last year I stopped 3x in 1 week. 😂I’m holding the baby that had her 1st lick of your caramel and 6 yrs later, she’s the one in the white shirt getting them every year only eatting them now!!

Just a heads up on this year's caramel apples. I just purchased 13 for a doctor's office, and they are mushy. I called the store and she said they are having problems with apples this year. I was quite embarrassed about this. Please tell the customer before they are purchasing and spending that much money. I usually love going to dans for their candies and giving them as gifts
