Varsity - Joondalup

Came here for dessert after having dinner nearby. It was quiz night, but service was still relatively quick. Ended up getting two chocolate brownies and a strawberry milkshake, everything was delicious. Plenty of room to sit both inside and outside in a friendly atmosphere. Would come back here for sure

Great vibes great ambience, busy place. Sports bar with screens all around you, and great american fast food. Located just behind Joondalup shopping centre opposite police station among other shops. Plenty of paid parking around, and indoors are full of options i.e. pool, game kiosks. Facilities are clean and service was decent during our visit.

We ordered through Uber eats, $80 dollars and we couldn't be more disappointed, first our order was wrong and the ingredients looked and tasted old and poor quality, we couldn't even finish our meal, was that bad. Two bites and we had to throw it away. Used to be a decent place in the past. We are not ordering again from them.

1st time ordering from here & had big expectations due to all the strong reviews… but unfortunately not a good experience, & everything was quite oily. Soul burger - good size but chicken fillet was dry & overcooked. Chips - ordered large - arrived lukewarm & top third of the container was empty… wondering how small a ‘regular’ must be! Onion rings - very oily & seemed to have some spice in the batter that’s not mentioned in the description (says just “beer battered”); wondered given the price (not cheap) how many we’d receive - should mention in menu description; for online orders as a side, would be better to offer half the serve for half the price. Choc brownie - well this was yum. Extra sauce ordered = average. Overall, unlikely to reorder or visit in person. (Ordered via Doordash)

Today myself, my missies, my brother in law and my sister took a well deserved and long awaited visit to Varsity Joondalup. We was greeted with friendly door staff and then got ourselves a nice table. Upon visiting the bar, there was plenty of drinks to offer on tap from Guinness to Gage Roads single fin. The Guinness, Heineken and Single fin were all good. We sat and took a look at the wide range of food to offer, including a separate Vegan menu to cater for all. I would of like to have seen some sort of garlic bread on the menu, but that’s just a personal thing. The food came in a timely manner and was fresh and hot. We got a selection of starters, including onion rings, jalapeño poppers and fried pickles. We got a selection of burgers and buffalo chicken wings, which where all juicy and tasty. I would of liked to get more than 3 jalapeño poppers but that’s just me. The table staff where polite and efficient, and plenty and relaxing environment. Overall it was a enjoyable visit to varsity joondalup, and I’m hoping to go back soon to try out some of there other food.
