Milestones

I used to love Milestones but the last few times I've had to go here (for birthdays or events) I have been extremely disappointed. The portions you get are pitiful especially for the cost. I don't mind spending a bit extra if the food is delicious or even just a larger portion but I can't say either of these things here. My sister ordered the steak and lobster tail one night which she said she enjoyed but for $40+ she very literally got one bite of lobster and a tiny steak. My boyfriend ordered a fairly expensive chicken Caesar salad for his meal that night and received a portion barely comparable to a side salad. Since these events have been larger top table, the service we've received is very poor. We would wait 20 minutes (at least) to receive our drinks, and then wait another 20 minutes for the server to come back so we could tell them the drinks were wrong, only to wait even longer to get the proper drinks. I've seen a lot of other people review about the cold food they got which has happened to me several times. I love the Bellini's here though which is the only reason I would come in. I really hope the newer management will consider being less stingy with their portions. I don't like having to write a poor review for this place since I used to love the salmon fillet and the environment here.

Staff was good drinks were good but my wife and I had ordered the steaks both medium and they were cooked very differently one was peppered mine was not hers was cooked almost well done and mine medium rare. Hers was very tender where mine was tough. And the mash potatoes were fairly dry. I recommend something else until they get there consistency down pat. Update: we came back ordered the same things again much better consistency. Had the manager reach out and assured the problem was rectified and I can confidently say that it has been. Thank you milestones for you excellent customer service and excellent food we will be back!

Easily one of the worst services I've had in a long while. When we got to our table, we had to wait over 5 minutes to even be recognized by our waiter, but the place was not busy. We had to order water which seems to be the case here. I had a simple soft drink but waited almost ten minutes for it, the place was not even half full. When we ordered food I explicitly requested my burger to be medium cooked, which the waiter acknowledged. When the food came, my burger was cooked through and dry. After mentioning this to the waiter, she said that they always cook them through, completely ignoring what I had asked for. I resented from having a new one made, because I don’t like wasting food. Overall, the food was ok as we are used to from Milestones. The service was poor. Especially since there was no apparent reason, the place was not busy.

This may qualify more as a rant than a review ... the waitress was sweet and new AND completely overwhelmed on a patio that was not very busy. Management is responsible to supervise and clearly there was none. She had no support either from the bar. But my main concern was the grey piece of meat that was supposed to be rare prime rib. Knowing how prime rib is prepared, carved and served ... I always ask for rare as possible. And I know I don't always get exactly what I asked for. The server dropped the plate off ... knowing it was overcooked ... muttered it was precooked and scurried off. Now I don't blame her. The meat should never have left the kitchen. I resent being put in the position where I have to spend the next 10 minutes deciding whether or not I should send it back. IF you cannot give me what I order ... have a conversation with me and give me a chance to order something else. To their credit the entre was comped... but really was just a recognition I didn't eat the meal not a recognition that serving it was disrespectful and negatively impacted our evening.

Ordered four 14 ounce prime rib dinners and had to send them all back in to be microwaved as they were served almost raw and ice cold? Plates were changed and returned with gravy and parts of the meal removed. Potatoes were cold and likely days old. Our server Grace was awesome, but whoever is running the kitchen is awful. I'd rate this 0 stars but the manager finally came out after a phone call and took the steaks off the bill, still unhappy we drove 2 hours for this dinner to be served this

I wanted to like it because food was mostly quite good. But the service was very slow. The place was probably 1/4 full. Our waitress had 3 tables she was waiting on, but it took her about 15 minutes to take our order, after getting rid of one of her tables. Food took a long time to come out (I had enough time to go for a little walk and come back). I asked for my Thai Red Curry to be mild, but it was quite spicy (I'm not saying it's bad, it's good food but a lot spicier than I wanted). The waitress said she was going to bring me some cream. About 15 minutes later, I was too full and gave the rest of my food to my husband. When he was almost done, she showed up with the cream. It's 2 on service. 4 on food. Averaging 3. I'd go to another Milestone because the food is good, but not the same one because this one's service is quite sub par.

I’m giving this one star because it won’t let me rate it less. This was absolutely terrible. After a 9.5 hr drive through winter conditions we were exhausted and starving and just wanted a good meal before going to bed. I waited at the hostess stand in plain view of 2 servers and a bartender, all of who looked at me but didn’t acknowledge me at all, about 4 minutes before I was sat. The server was nice enough, but she was slow and not easy to find. My main complaint was the food. It was awful. I had the cod and it was so over cooked, rubbery, string and tough. It almost seemed both over cooked and maybe as though the fish was old. The server was fine about replacing it with a new item but it was obvious she wasn’t impressed with me at all. I’ve served for years, I know when a server is annoyed or put out as I’ve been there myself many times. I then ordered a steak med rare that was a med well at best, and so effing spicy that I couldn’t eat it. I put chilli flakes or tobasco on everything so if it’s too spicy for me it’s way too spicy. I didn’t say anything because I felt bad enough about sending the first entree back. My moms dish was cold, and her chicken was chewy but she’ll eat anything before complaining. The drinks were way too sweet for classic cocktails like a Moscow mule or a bourbon sour. The service wasn’t “bad” per say, but it was definitely not good. Overall the experience was very disappointing. Milestones is not an expensive restaurant but it’s also not at all cheap. 75$ for two people when the food is over cooked and cold is not worth it at all. We would have been better to go the Swiss chalet next door. We’ve eaten at milestones before, even this location and it’s usually fine, but whatever was going on in the kitchen last night was an overpriced major disappointment. We won’t be back.

We both ordered lobster bisque but they only had 1 left which was served cold. 🤢. We both ordered steak and prawns. Exact same dinner. I got a raw baseball steak and my spouse got a tiny thin dried put piece of leather. Not the same cuts of meat at all for the same dinner. Mashed potatoes barely warm. Thank god our waitress rocked
