Most wonderful, homey food, local ambience, owners working cooking & front register. So sad to see the cost of operating business causing them to close. Dean is a chef and his foods are top notch like ahi cakes, bbq, and other specialty dishes! Wish them luck in their new operation or retirement ❣🎉🎊😫

I have always enjoyed Dean's Drive In. Today, I had a simple cheeseburger w/ fries 🍟 and a Coke. I had to fight back tears, as I told the person who took my order, "I sure will miss this place." Local kine good food and nice people. A great Kaneohe go to food establishment. Fond memories.

Really great food. Worth the wait from when you call in. I recommend calling before hand so you can go through the drive through when you got there. My boyfriend got the surf and turf meal with teriyaki beef and ahi tuna cake and I got the striped marlin lunch plate which was a special dish of the day. We really enjoyed our meals and the staff we were in contact with were very friendly :) I would 10/10 eat here again.

After our morning at the beach, we drove a bit to get to Dean's drive inn. I had the ahi cakes with Mac salad and they were really good! Kinda like a salmon burger patty but better flavor especially with the mayo sauce. Right now you have to call and it took about 15 minutes but then you pick it up at their drive thru. There was also a sign saying they are closed on the weekends so check if they are open before you go. Very good overall, definitely a nice casual lunch or dinner.

Deans is one of our family go tos when i dont feel like cooking. And that drive thru window makes it as easy as 1 2 3. The food is amazingly flavorful and the daily specials are a happy surprise.

Great local style food! Portions are a good size, and prices are good for what you get. Their ahi cakes have raving reviews but I was a little underwhelmed. Don’t get me wrong, they are good but not as good as I was expecting. Their fries are good and the teri beef is super good! Highly recommend the beef. Quick service. Will be back!

Dean's Drive Inn has great food. This no frills restaurant is popular with the locals & Guy Fieri has featured it on Diners, Drive-Inns & Dives. My Loco Moco was "broke da mouth" good. Everyone at our table raved about how good their food was, so you know we will be back.

This place is what was featured in Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It truly has ono local food. In this pic is one of the occasional specials known as Ahi Belly. I get it every other time I'm there. It has a great buttery taste that makes me want to go back for more.
The atmosphere is quite relaxed and there is plenty of seating for families and groups of friends.
