Alegria Brazilian Grill

This place is so good. The meat we ordered was cooked to perfection. No fancy flavors, just great quality meat and salt with a hint of smoke. All the sides were fantastic. The grilled pineapple was unbelievable, yet so simple. My only complaint is that I can't get the stroganoff as a side dish. A small cup of it along with the steak would be an incredible meal.

I really enjoyed Alegria. Amanda behind the counter greeted me and knew the menu very well. Don’t tell, but she comped some cheese bread so I could try it. I’ve read some of the other reviews and some struck me as odd. Brazilian food doesn’t have the richness or heavy flavoring of Italian or French. It’s fairly simple, it’s good, and it’s usually expensive. The portions here are large, the food is good, the staff amazing, and you don’t have to pay Brazilian steak house prices. I’ll be back the next time I have a meeting in Katy.

I seriously loved this place! If I lived in the area I would be here often. We got a chicken dumpling, a beef pastel, a cheese pastel, then we got the shrimp soup bowl. I definitely recommend eating the soup with the white rice!! And the fried yucca, grilled pineapple, and plantain were all super delicious as well

Wow. Not sure how I missed this place all this time. The food is great and is very reasonably priced. I had the Brazilian combo - steak and chicken with 3 sides (I had double grilled veggies) and there was just so much food. The grilled vegetables were fresh and the greens were still firm and had lots of bacon. The steak was tender and cooked to order and the chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Although the food was good, the service is the reason to come. You won’t find friendly people anywhere They are really great.
