Chennai Corner

New restaurant in the place of old one. Furniture and setting remains same. We ordered biryani. It’s not a typical Hyderabadi biryani but tasted good. It’s little dry. Typical menu but variety of dosas. No buffet for now but lunch platter is available. Prices are on the heavy side with appetizers beyond 10$. Best location though. Banquet hall available for parties. Parking is available in front of the restaurant and around the corner.

One of my favorite places to eat. Great portions, great food, well worth the money. Has a perfect homemade taste and their dishware is perfect. They are very cleansy and very nice, they will work with your taste buds, do NOT be afraid to say something about the food. We had a worry about food being too spicy for someone we brought and she turned out having the perfect spice level, because he checked on us constantly! I highly recommend this place!

The food was good, but the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. Almost like being at a low budget wedding held in a firehall, and catered by family. So you know the food will taste good, and plenty of it with the lunch buffet, but the setting leaves a lot to be desired. That said, I loved the butter chicken, and for the price I would most likely be back for lunch during work week, since it's close and quick.

I love this restaurant. Staff is very friendly and food is always delicious. All food items taste authentic and the portion is also very large. I have regularly been visiting this restaurant for lunch and dinner and they have never disappointed me. Buffet also has large variety from veg to non-veg. I recommend everybody to try this place.

Chennai Corner has some of the most authentic and flavorful Indian dishes in the Philadelphia area. Every since they came under new management, one year ago, the quality of the food has increased noticeably. I travel 30 minutes to get here whenever I’m craving Indian food and it’s worth it every time.
