Stella's Italian Restaurant

The food is good. It has been my go-to for Italian for years, usually once every few months. Right now, however, in November of 2020 when I am seeing friends and co-workers sick with Covid, I can't trust anyone or any business that does not take hygiene and mask-wearing seriously. Masks under noses, pulling masks down to talk to customers... their front of house staff clearly does not. Makes one wonder- if their customer-facing staff can't even make a show of following CDC guidelines, what is going on in the back of house!

This place is so consistent.... Great friendly fast service... THE SALAD IS INSANE!!! the bread with tomatoes is great then the bread basket with their special little spread is very good.... ordered the steamed clam appetizer dish, great!! Spicy pasta with linguine and calamari is a good pick too, a ton of calamari!! Strongly suggest visiting here if your in the area

This is my first time in and I am noticing both FOH and BOH staff without masks. I am also noticing people touching their face and hair and not washing their hands. I am writing in hopes that management will be alerted to the fact and take their responsibility to the public more seriously. As a restaurant professional I am shocked by this conduct and am wary to return.

As usual, our meal was wonderful. The food was good and plentiful. We did have a couple of hiccups with our server and the tweaks requested on one of the dishes. It wasn't resolved to our satisfaction entirely, but we didn't want to make it a thing in front of our guests. We visit here about 6 times or more per year and if we have the same server next time, we'll have a more detailed discussion when ordering. We've been eating here for at least ten years and this is the first less than stellar (wordplay coincidental, but fun) experience we've had. We'll be back!
