My mom brought me here the first time. Chef Andras makes the best food I have had anywhere in the area, BY FAR. The flavors are unique and well thought out and cooked to perfection. I love the unique experience when I go as I don't have think about what I'm going to order (I know it'll be delicious) and every course is somehow timed perfectly so that I'm ready for it. He encouraged us to bring our kiddo as he loves introducing kids to new flavors and she LOVED it. We love Chef Andras and his food so much that we even asked him to cater our wedding. We are still getting compliments on the food; guests said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding (by far). He went above and beyond what we had asked him to do and we can't thank him and his team enough.

Caramella Riverside Bistro is beyond a Google 5 star review considering folks are rating fast food restaurants in the area as 4 star restaurants. Michelin stars are given to restaurants that exceed the norm. Caramella's is definitely deserving of that kind of rating. Is Chef Andras arrogant... I would definitely say that he is very proud of what he does. As he should with the amount of work and dedication as he has put in to a meal. But I would say his arrogance is down to earth once you talk and get to know the man. He is hilarious and to be honest, he will yell at you for showing up early... (I don't recommend showing up late). Chef is a stickler for excellence and he really does hold in high regard the community and has served many folks who could not afford a meal during the pandemic. A Michelin 3 star restaurant has exceptional cuisine and is worth a special trip just to visit. Rather than being a stop on the way to a destination, this restaurant is the destination. This restaurant serves distinct dishes that are executed to perfection. Chef Andras has definitely served up to the review.

I invited 5 couples to join in on celebrating my husband’s birthday at Caramella’s. It was an amazing evening. The food was absolutely impeccable. The service was perfect. Chef Andras was hilarious and quite entertaining. The entire group couldn’t say enough positive things about the experience. Andras made us feel quite at home and shared a lot of his life history with us and little secrets on his dishes. He even accommodated 2 in our party with Gluten restrictions. The menu consisted of little Reuben open-faced finger sandwiches as a teaser appetizer, then a smoked Gouda cheese and blueberry salad, then the first entree of smoked salmon with spinach ravioli and an amazing sauce, with a final entree of chateaubriand with whipped potatoes and French green beans. Everything was to perfection! Then Andras presented a specially baked birthday cake - vanilla with chocolate icing using candied oranges and raspberries on top. Voila! Needless to say, we’ll be back. Btw, if you want to make reservations, Andras usually stays booked out 4-6 weeks so book early! 👨🏼‍🍳🙂

I ate here with my family last night and, the dinner was phenomenal. The quality of the food is more than exceptional. The red snapper was so fresh that my husband, who is Japanese, couldn’t stop mentioning how it was sashimi grade quality. Chef Andras even graciously gave us a piece of red snapper to take. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience, and I highly recommend dining here. Thank you, Chef Andras for the fantastic food, and we can’t wait to be back!

I don't really know if i can put into words how amazing this restaurant is... Chef Andras is (hands down) Roane County's finest chef!!! Dining is by reservation only and believe me... It's very well worth the wait!!! Here, you get a full dining experience with a full 5 course meal, that's right.. A 5 course meal!! Steak and seafood here is exquisite!!! The portions are perfect and slightly spread out each course so you don't get over full. 5 stars to chef Andras and 2 thumbs waaay up! I will definitely recommend this to family and friends.

Everything was fantastic. The home made pizza appetizer was excellent. The salad with Fetta cheese and fresh peaches hit the spot. The smoked salmon was a nice prelude for the beef tenderloin which was cooked to perfection. The cake for desert topped off a wonderful dining experience. Thanks, Andras!
