Smoke House Bar N Grill

I made the decision to make the trek to Kingston to eat here, and I'm so glad I did. This was a great discovery. Hard to find anything here that a person would not like. The smokehouse burger immediately got my attention, but the menu is loaded with plenty of options to tempt your taste buds. Beer battered fries seemed like a natural choice to go with the burger, but you can pick from a dozen different sides. They have 20 beers on tap and a very impressive selection of bourbon, which includes Booker's, Blanton's, Eagle Rare, and five different WhistlePig. If you need a place to watch your favorite sports teams, they have plenty of TVs to keep you from missing a second of the action. Overall, a great place to go, any time and any day.

I had the pork cutlet sandwich. I cut the meat in two and made a double stack out of it. Juicy and flavorful with crispy coating. The Loaded baked potato made an excellent dinner later. Wife had the Philly cheese sandwich with baked sweet potato. She was also pleased with the food and had leftovers for dinner.

Three of us arrived at this restaurant at 8:15pm and we stopped here because of the great reviews we saw online. We waited for about over an hour and a half for our food. We only got collectively a burger, a club sandwich, and a brisket. Look over, tables next to us that were seated after us get their food. We contacted our waitress to ask what’s wrong with our food. She told us the “kitchen is backed up and our food is up next”. Right as she walks away, another table, sat 30 MINUTES after us, gets their food. Huh! What a suprise!!!!! Our food came out not longer than what? 10 minutes after we complained. This is so obvious that she didn’t put our orders in and wasted our time. And how wonderful- my chips. CHIPS were undercooked 😐. Almost over 3/4 of them were undercooked. And when I told her, she just came out with new chips, not even a sorry or anything. And when we got the check, nothing AT ALL as a compensation to us for HER mistake and wasting our time. We actually left at 10pm. FYI: if you see the waitress with long black hair and really good makeup, this is the waitress we are complaining about.

This place is absolutely amazing! The food is great and the service and prices were too. The only thing we didn’t like, was they had a band playing last night. The establishment is a little small for that kind of music. The band was silver trailer and to each their own. I will make sure they aren’t there if we go back on a Saturday night. The food is almost more than you can eat. The portions are very generous and we had no issues with the order at all. We will be back to try brunch next and more at night. The wives loved the Buffalo chicken dip and the Buffalo shrimp. We all got something different and shared around the table. The catfish was as big as the plate and the table loved it. The drinks from the bar were really good as well.

We happened to be in the Harriman area, so we thought we'd try this place out. If you like sports bars, you'd really like this place. It's all open with TVs everywhere, which means on game days, it gets a little loud. The waitress said we could sit anywhere, and after she wiped down a booth for us, we said we needed a few minutes since we hadn't been there before. The place was probably about half full & there were two waitresses taking care of everyone. It was probably 5 minutes or more before she came back to take our order. I ordered the smoked chicken quesadilla, and some fried pickles with ranch dressing. Both were on the appetizer menu. My mom ordered the pulled chicken plate with two sides, and got a baked potato and a salad. They use those fancy pieces of lettuce that look like weeds for their salad, which I don't care for, but my mom enjoyed it, despite the fact that there wasn't much lettuce in it. The food was delicious. That was probably the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had. I didn't notice any grizzly pieces of chicken, it was all good. And both our meals came with a lot of chicken. I tried my quesadilla with the ranch dip, sour cream, and barbecue sauce. Everything tasted great, even though the sour cream comes in a little packet. It did take a while to get our food, but it was definitely worth the wait. If I ever eat here again, I'll try to pick a day that there aren't any games on, so it won't be quite as noisy, or slow. 6/5/22- Made it back today. The quesadilla was just as good as I remembered, but the service was still slow. The waitress could have been a little more attentive, but all in all, I'm sure I'll be back.

Food was awesome. Great homade onion rings. Awesome chicken tenders, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, especially the fried Mac & cheese. But cornbread was dry. The ribs were delicious but dry. May I suggest the last 2-3 hours of cooking them to rap in foil. It holds moisture in them. And they may have been reheated to long. Still yet, the food was excellent!! I understand it could of been a off day on the dryness. All cooks have them. Even with these couple things I've got to be honest & say the food was top notch..
