Noodle Box

Very disappointed with my nasi goreng. It’s the one dish I normally enjoy from Noodle Box. It was an egg fried rice, with no real flavour. I had to add spice and some soy as it was dry, and the rice was in clumps. It was busy when we picked up our meals, but this is not our problem. Surely each meal is made to order and should vaguely resemble what has been requested.

Maybe come to this store when not too busy. If busy food is rushed,burnt and too saucy not enough meat plenty half raw noodles with alot of sauce. Not pleasant to eat. Fried rice is too oily. Otherwise not busy get a good feed.👍🏻.. Prawn chips also need to be cooked fresh some packs the chips are tasting stale.

Ordered online. Arrived at correct time. Waited for 5-10 mins before asking for order. Was told to pick up other end of counter- had to wait until others were served. Ordered stay veg/tofu with noodles. 95% noodles with slivers of carrots, about 3 beansprouts and 2 bits of celery. Couldn't taste any satay either. And while I wa ls there the guy serving undid 3 boxes, lowered his mask and put nose near the food sniffing it. Will never return.

Usually eat at Noodle Box at The Lakes but stopped in at Kirwan on way home. Placed exact same order and discovered when I got home it was nothing like our previous orders. No sauce for spring rolls, rice in Nasi Goreng was crunchy and not cooked properly and noodles in Black Bean not cooked enough. The meal was binned because we couldn't be stuffed driving back to the store as (let's face it) we got takeaway so we didn't have to go out and faff around. All around disappointing and expensive experience. Don't recommend. And also, I shouldn't need to ask a food takeaway place to cook it right the second time, it should be done right the first time.
