Blue & Beyond (the Rooftop Restobar)

Best rooftop cafe with an amazing view in New Market, Blue&beyond is a multicuisine restaurant serving Chinese, Continental and North Indian cuisines. Items tried: Tangri kebab (recommended) Tandoori chicken (recommended) Pan fried chilli fish Mix hakka noodles Kung-pao-chicken Fish munere Chicken kalamaki Mutton biryani Chicken makhani Butter naan

The main attraction of this place is it's rooftop seating. Unfortunately we went on a rainy day and couldn't enjoy it to the fullest but the view was mesmerizing. The Victoria standing in it's beauty right in front of it. Food was good not great. Serving was also above par. The rooftop indoor seating was not clean and AC was not working, so had to sit in the main seating. We ordered 2 Budweiser, Reshmi Kebab (must try), Drumstick, Blue and Beyond special mocktail and Lamb Slizzers. Food came pretty quick. 2400/ for 3

Though I visited at night I missed the daylight ambience there But during dark, the place was beautiful Light breeze was there , a little bit dark so couldn't get the pictures properly but enjoyed my time there The assorted nonveg platter wasn't upto the mark and not worth the price I felt Rest everything was fine Hope to visit again in daytime for some beautiful pictures

Very cozy place. The building structure is old but it goes with the theme. I was expecting something much less impressive but upon the elevator doors opening. I was taken aback. The rooftop was amazing. It had an entire view of the Kolkata Skyline. As a tourist to the city, this was absolutely delightful to look at. Now for the food and drinks. The drinks: Loved the cocktails and mocktails. My personal recommendation: Muddy water. They also serve other great mocktails, we also had a kiwi fruit one and it was worth the money. The food: It's a good place to eat, but it is not anything special. If you want Kolkata food, Blue and Beyond is a solid choice to go to. It has an impressive amount of food item to choose from. The indoor could've been decorated better but overall, I was very impressed and would definitely come visit again.

Although the rooftop view is worth visiting, the seating arrangement could have been a lot better. The arrangement seems fine for refreshments or snacks but not appropriate for having lunch or dinner. The lighting seems to be a little less, lack of fan or cooling makes it miserable in hot and humid weather. 🥵 The pricing of the food is also slightly on the higher side although the food is very good. 👍 Worth a visit if it is not too humid.
