Chai Break

I went with a friend one Saturday afternoon and spent a solid 3 hours, chatting and munching away. The food (veg fare) and drinks (totally non-alcoholic) were super. The staff was polite, helpful and attentive, the service was fast. Parking is right outside the cafe. It's paid, not complimentary. Realised this is a happy, buzzy place with scores of youngsters coming in and going out. Of course, most headed straight to the Hookah bar. Can't comment on that section 'cos didn't step in there at all, being a strict non-smoker.

Chai break one of the cafes with great footfalls owing to its magnificence coupled with great foods. Tea lover will have an absolute treat as it has strong flavoured tea that you can't ignore at any cost. The ambiance gives a great treat treat to the eyes. Go with your gang and enjoy the place. Further, hookah and drinks are also available. Hokaah room is different. For weekend it's a great place to be.

This place is located in elgin near rabindra sadan metro station.. I have visited here quite number of times.. This place has three parts.. one is for non hookah.. and the other sections are for hookah.. We ordered icw base hookah which cost rs480.. It was good though.. Rarely found in kolkata.. We also ordered mix sauce penne pasta and ice tea. Bth were okayish in taste.. The interior is quite good as well as the crowd.. The staffs were also well behaved and the service was also good.. They also have some indoor card and board games..

It's a nice little place for spending half an hour or so. Mainly a place for coffee and some snacks but another attraction of this place is to those people who care to smoke a hookah. It has two sections, outer one is for people who love coffee only and inside you can smoke and enjoy coffee as well. Staffs are courteous, price is not as high as CCD but costly nevertheless. Another drawback is the AC which is almost pathetic during hot summer days.

The ambience was really good. A proper place for a personal and business meet. The price was also reasonable. The quantity served was really very good and the quality was also high ... Though I would not recommend the Monte Carlo ... I personally felt the spiced caramel in it was out of place and was kind of ruining the taste of the blended Brownie and Ice Cream. Otherwise it was really very nice going there... Will surely visit again. Thank You.

The staff is courteous and friendly, the décor is simply outstanding and it has a dedicated lounge area for people below 18 years of age and for people above 18 years of age. This denotes that every person irrespective of age can come and enjoy the luscious and fascinating diner called CHAI BREAK. Music here is pretty loud so most of the times you have to keep up your voices in order for another person to listen to you. Chai Break has a curated vegetarian menu which includes various cuisines. This place is like heaven for vegetarians. Their food is so good that I didn’t even know vegetarian food tastes that good. I was in awe.
