Sienna has the vibes, the food and the charm. Upon arriving, it was a little hectic with trying to get a table. The hostess was moving around a lot, on calls, dealing with delivery orders and dealing with customers. But eventually we were able to get a table and we weren’t disappointed with the food at all. We ordered the duck leg confit, Xmas roast with pork belly and honey glazed ham and the makha sondesh. All dishes were absolutely delicious. It felt warm, cozy and like I was enjoying a home cooked meal from grandma. I can’t say much negative about this place except that it does take quite a while for the food to be served. BUT the positive side of that is it is WORTH THE WAIT. I can’t take off any points for that, the food alone is simply that good.

This is legit a world class culinary experience on par with many Michelin restaurants globally. Highlighting traditional Bengali flavors with an ultra-modern twist, Auroni Mookerjee has managed to perfect not only an amazing postmodern take on what fusion cooking is, but also keeping his eye on the flavors and textures that make this probashi Bengali's heart and palate happy.

This place holds a special charm. I went there with my mother for a delightful dinner, and both of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thanks to the incredibly friendly staff and the warm, familial ambiance. Now, let's talk about the food. The mushroom, parmesan, and Gobhindobog black rice risotto was among the best I've ever tasted. It easily rivals the finest risottos served in any trattorias in New York City. The roasted pumpkin soup was hearty, and the avocado toast was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of pumpkin seeds and arugula. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we're looking forward to returning with more family and friends.

Fabulous is the first word that came to my mind when I let my taste buds enjoy the food on offer here. It takes enormous amount of skill, loads and loads of imagination, unwavering courage and above all an unmeasurable amount of love for the craft of cooking to come up with this end result. They overhaul the whole menu twice every week, as claimed by the nice guy who served us. I had seen the chef Koyel Roynandi in one of the popular youtube channel's show. Now I am of the opinion she must be celebrated. In addition I used their stable wifi connection and power connectivity to get a half days office work done from there without any hindrance (apart from the distraction cause by the enormously impressive food off course 😀)

Visited in Nov 2023 Had to visit Sienna during my trip to Kol since they were ranked the #5 restaurant in India by Conde Nast Traveller. Overall I felt that this is a very good cafe (good food, decent service, nice vibe) but #5 in India may be a stretch. The dumplings were really nice and I’d recommend folks to def try that out. I also liked the pork belly noodle bowl. The drinks menu is also pretty exhaustive and the coffee was decent. Would definitely recommend folks to visit this chic cafe as the vibe and food is pretty good, but temper your expectations if you’ve had meals at the other top 50 places in the CN Traveller list.

We came here on the recommendation of a food blogger friend. Had a special menu for Durga Puja. We ordered these 1) Dumplings in Lal Jhol - The Jhol (meat gravy) made it a nice fusion with the usual momos. 2) Muro to Lyaja Ilish Thala - This was the best Illish I had in a while. 3) Mangsho Jhol Carnitas - with naan-puri - This was my favourite. The mutton gravy was simply out of the world. 4) Caramel Mishti Doi - Looks like a caramel pudding but tastes like caramel flavoured mishti doi. Very well done. The food was mind-blowing and service was top notch. It was the most sumptuous meal I had in the last few months. The ambience was okish.

Food is really nice. We tried the cheesy egg toast with mushrooms and bacon. And the pulled chicken burger. Both were extreme tasty, didn't expect it to be this good honestly. A tad too pricey I felt as both dishes were priced at ₹ 500, but it very filling as well. Service was fast. Also tried the kombucha, but it can be skipped.
