We went to the Mitra Cafe Shyam bazar branch. I didn't expect the cafe to be this small! Only nine people can sit there at a time since there is a table for four, a table for two and a table for three. So we had to wait for like 10 minutes. We had fish fingers and fish fries. Food was good, albeit high priced. Serving was quick. Staffs are also very polite. Because of the shortage of space, this branch is more suitable for takeout than dine in.

Very small restaurant . Sitting capacity is available for approx 7-8 people at a time . Fish items are good . Service is good . But prawn cutlet is quite disappointing . Restaurant is well decorate and maintained , but there is no washroom into the restaurant . My overall experience was good .

The place is iconic and has a long history.
The items are all authentic and delicious although the cost is on the higher side

The shop is all decorated with iconic kolkata monuments all over shop making it more iconic

Very small but very beautifully organised and decorated place. Good ambience. Sitting arrangement for maximum 9-10 people at a time inside. Also sitting available outside. Disposable plates and cutlery are used. Pricing is a little high compared to quality. But taste is very good.

This one my 2 nd time visiting review at Mitra cafe (Ahiritola)). We ordered chiken fry (breast) portion.. Was good and crispy , filling with juicy chiken piece.
Also oredered a plate of Gondhoraj Pokora. And a choco desert.. Which taste was so good.

It's a small joint, (currently it has gone 20 steps ahead of the original place as construction is going on) famous for its diamond kabiraji.. one can try their other items too.
I had tried Mutton Afghani & Egg moglai+Mutton kasha. Coming to the taste they both are decent. Mutton Afghani is kind of kabiraji except you don't get the fluffy egg wash instead it served with gravy.
