I recently visited Bachan's Dhaba, Kalighat, Kolkata, and I had a great experience. I ordered rumali roti, lachha paratha, and chicken reshmi butter masala. The food was delicious and the quantity was enough for two people. The rumali roti was soft and fluffy, and the lachha paratha was crispy and flaky. The chicken reshmi butter masala was flavorful and creamy, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The ambience of the restaurant was calm and relaxed. Like other college students I didn't have that much money 😢 and this place is costly 💰. I was thinking about ordering something minimal, so I ordered a mixed chowmin which cost me 250/- rupees 💵. But the food was so good 😋. One of the best chowmin I have ever eaten in Kolkata. The quantity was good. The proteins were fresh and also present in good quantity 🍳 🍗. I was especially blown away by the perfect cooking of the shrimp 🍤. Usually we Bengalis overcook shrimp and it becomes dry and rubbery. But these guys nailed it. It was perfectly cooked and tender with a hint of umami in every bite. I was actually impressed. Next time I'm gonna save some money and return back to try other dishes. I hope I will not be disappointed. Highly recommended. ⭐

Food is really good here..don't expect any party atmosphere, ambience or fine dining. Want to fill yourself up with tast food.. this is the place. Found this place crowded almost all the time, hence proves how good and famous this place is. Although I had a mutton roll but that very tasty too. you can customise the chillies if you want and if there are considerably less customers.. good place

Very nice and beautiful ambience inside. I wasn't expecting that much. Food quality and quantity is too good, really they served delicious food. price is quite decent. There are 3 floors. 1st and 2nd floor is ac room. Ground floor is normal. I will recommend the ac rooms. On my last visit tables were available at 2pm. But in general on the rush time after 2pm you have to wait for sometime. Service is very very nice. Staffs behave politely. I've enjoyed my lunch very much. You can also go with your friends and families. Definitely you will be satisfied.
