Hare Krishna Restaurant

Absolutely loved visiting the first ISKCON temple in India, established by Srila Prabhupada ji. We reached there at around 8:30 am, when the Srimad Bhagavatam class begins, and stayed for more than an hour listening to the amazing lecture by Guruji, and then later visiting the gift shop which opens post 10 am. I was looking for a book to buy there "The Hare Krishna Book of Vegetarian Cooking"....but didn't find it unfortunately. Would be great if the authorities could bring some copies of this book to the shop and also sell them online. Would definitely go back again. Hare Krishna. 🙏🕉️

Very peaceful and beautiful ambience. After visiting iskcon it’s pretty sure that anyone will feel mesmerised and it feels like we are in a different zone. This divine temple is full of positive and mind refreshing spirituality and the people chanting the name of God... Haribol. Radhe Radhe. Jai Shri Krishna! Loved the experience! ❤️

Most beautiful Radha Krishna temple. It's a very religious and peaceful place. Loved how foreign priests were doing all the rituals and spiritual values, wearing Indian attire. Many tourists visit this temple. My parents and grandparents loved this place. One of the most relaxing places. At that time few parts of the temple were under construction, back in Oct 2022

It's on Albert road, Kolkata. I visited with my family on Sunday for Puja and Bhog-prasad. It's a beautiful, well maintained iskon temple of Radha Krishna and Jagannath, Suvdra and Balaram. We felt so good to be part of the Kirtana. Devotees can understand the emotion behind such Kirtana. Then the mandir closes at 1pm when they distribute Prasad which is a meal for lunch. It took 70 rupees per person when we visited and they served soft and hot rooti (flat bread), fluffy rice, daal (pulse soup), mixed vegetable curry, potato and Colocasia root curry, suji ka halwa (Semolina desert). The food was good. The only thing they can improve is that they should ensure proper arrangements for drinking water.

Whenever I visit here it feels like I am one step away from God. Such a positive place filled with lots of positive energy. I can sit here for hours without getting bored. Best divine places in Kolkata. Surely you must visit here. The vibe here is out of this world. You enjoy party dances, here people & I enjoy similar energetic dances but to the divine kirtans' beat. Best best best.

ISKCON Radha Krishna Temple is a highly spiritual place for the devotees focusing on spreading the teachings of Lord Krishna. It is not restricted to any one particular religion as such and welcomes enthusiasts or people interested in learning about these teachings with open arms. The temple is a serene complex that houses beautifully ornamented idols of Goddess Radha and Lord Krishna.
