This place is perfect to try cabin style foods. The service was very fast and the staffs were really efficient... We tried their: ● Fish Diamond Fry (priced at Rs 130) ● Chicken Cutlet (priced at Rs 80) ● Fish Kabiraji (priced at Rs 110) The Fish items were really really great but the Chicken cutlet was very dry and was a letdown.

Service was on point here as it's a quick sit and eat restaurant. Menu is definitely cheap for the amount of food they serve. We took a hawker's chicken fried rice with the kolkata style chili chicken and some chicken pakoras. Loved all of the items thoroughly. Definitely a must visit if you want to understand and experience the street food cuisine of Kolkata.

Published: 12th September 2022 Last dining date: 11th June 2022 I am an old patron. I like the place for its food and reasonable pricing which is at a much lower level from other budget restaurants. It's certainly not a place for ambiance. To me it's just for no nonsense good food at pocket-friendly prices. I like its famous fish fry, chicken pakora and Fish Butter Masala. I tried Chicken Fried Rice (Rs 120) and Chilli Chicken (Rs 90) on the said dining date. The fried rice was flavourful with abundant tender chicken pieces. The portion was appropriate for a single diner. The chilli chicken was done in street style but the portion was better than that on street. There were six good sized pieces with no cornflour coating (unlike on street). It had a hit of sweetness unlike other places which was not exactly to my liking but I found the overall taste decent and can come back for it. The service was prompt and the waiter was attentive.

In my opinion, this outlet is the best place to have food in and around Esplanade. No other food chain can beat this place for a budget friendly meal. Visited here several times, food never disappointed me. There is a huge rush of office goers every time you visit here. Staffs are old and satisfactory. But the food is worth the money and truly favoursome and delectable. I bet you there is no other place which can provide best quality of food and good portion at this price like here.
