The Orient- Lounge And Dining

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Orient, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The highlight of our meal was the Chicken Thai Green Curry, which I must say is a must-have; it was bursting with flavor and had just the right amount of spice. We also indulged in some Tempura Sushi and Shrimp Sushi, which were incredibly fresh and satisfying. To complement our meal, I enjoyed a smooth and delicious Mai Tai cocktail. The drinks menu had a great variety, and this one hit the spot perfectly. The ambiance at The Orient is cozy and exudes authentic Asian vibes, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing dining experience. If you ever find yourself craving sushi or Asian cuisine in general, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit. You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful experience. I went to celebrate my partner's birthday and had a beautiful evening. The staff were very courteous and the service was excellent. We tried the Shrimp Tempura Maki (sushi) which was very good. The Chilli onion pork was my personal favourite and one of the best chilli pork I have tried till date. The Hong Kong XO noodles along with Kung Pao chicken was the perfect dish to finish off the meal. Overall a very satisfying experience.

Excellent food served aesthetically with care and attention to detail. All the servers were very polite and professional. Had a chance to met chef Ghanshyam who made sure we had the best foods from the menu. The ambience was very nice, with a silent view of the passing trains through the new metro line now and then. Do try their special jasmine tea, and if you prefer to select from the liquor menu, you can go for any of their cocktails. For food, their fish, prawn and crab preparations are over the top. I personally loved their pan fried prawns and believe it to be the best I've ever had. In chef's recommendation we tried the udong egg noodles with some light chicken, which kept the bar high for the dessert. I have a sweet tooth and a weakness for desserts. But trust me when I say this. Their coconut ice cream on custard is bound to put you on your cloud nine. The ice cream was creamy with sugary, caramelized and crunchy coconut shaving. But the show stealer was the coconut malai resembling home-curated coconut custard that the ice cream was served on. The dessert stole the show of the evening. To have a great experience, the key is to seek recommendations from the servers to select good dishes. Had a wonderful experience and plan to visit again.
