This moderate shop in Kalighat has been there for quite some time. Though the shop lacks a glitzy touch, the salesman is very helpful and always smiling. The shop lacks a sitting arrangement; the elderly might face problems while having to stand while having the sweetmeats. But the best part of the shop is the history of the family of Nabin Chandra Das, K C Das and his successors. The legacy of the family and the contribution to Bengali sweets is evident in the photos and writing on the wall. Very few shops can boast of such a show.

I was catered to by patient, experienced staff. The samosa here is great as well, fresh and tasty. A good experience visiting here.
