Shimla Biriyani Restaurant in Kolkata is really nice. The place is cozy, and the people who work there are friendly. They have lots of different foods on the menu, and everything tastes good. The way they make the food looks fancy, and it always tastes yummy. The prices are fair, not too expensive. Sometimes, when it's very busy, you might have to wait a bit. But overall, Shimla Biriyani Restaurant is a good choice if you want tasty food in a comfy place without spending too much money.

The taste of their Biriyani is excellent and I was truly amazed after seeing that they kept their signature taste intact even at an extremely crowded night of Christmas. They also managed the crowd and parking very well and even after having hundreds of people in queue ahead of us, we got our table in under 30mins of waiting. Other than their biryani, Chicken Lahori is a must try.

Shimla biryani has completely transformed into a full fledged restaurant. Have expanded so well, two storeys enabling several patrons being served simultaneously. VIP bazaar that used to be pedestrians nightmare has been spruced up. Thanks to the Metro station! At the restaurant. Amazing service, timely service at that! With glass window panes one can view outside and enjoy watching the slow moving traffic till food reaches the table. Overall was a wonderful experience...

1) Foods are okay okay and budget friendly. 2)Ambience is a bit crowded and main problem here is their central AC,there are certain places where you have to sit in order to avoid cold blow of ac. 3) Service iwas quick and staff were friendly. 4)We ordered a Sundae ice cream which was 140, but we want it in a smaller quantity so they divide it in two cups and served that was amazing

Shimla Biriyani is a renowned restaurant in EM Bypass area. The place is full of different amenities and restaurants but we chose this one for celebrating our special day with each other (1st year anniversary) We ordered 1. Mutton Biriyani (1pc mutton) - 300rs 2. Butter Naan (1pc) - 45 3. Kolkata Bhetki (4pc) - 485 rs Food was simply outstanding. Specially the fish dish. (Highly recommended) It was decorated with shredded cheese, butter, chilli, cashew nuts cream etc. The butter naan was overloaded with butter, and Mutton Biriyani taste was too good and the mutton was succulent. Price is not too much , ambience was very nice, the sitting arrangement also. Staff behaviour is very nice. All over our experience was too good.

Their kebabs are mouth melting and too much delicious. Kebabs are perfect to start your meal. Their biryani has a different flavour and aroma . Finest rice perfectly cooked serves with good pieces of mutton or chicken as per your preference. The aloo of biryani is big size and also they serve egg in it. Also they have options for naan and other side dishes . Naan and murgh lajawab are too good to try. Also they have options for Chinese delicacies as well. You can try Chinese food also. Ambiance is so good and spacious. Quality and quantity of their food is highly recommended and top notch as well.. Service is fast. Would like to visit their place again.

This place is nice. The service, food quality, quantity and atmosphere all are good. The behaviour of the employees was also good. Even in their rush hours they don't compromise with their savings and quality of the food. Parking is a bit difficult to find in the festive season otherwise it was good.

Recently visited @shimlabiryani is my all time favourite. One stop destination for biryani lovers. Just Amazing Experience. We have tried below dishes today.. mostly are tasty but couple of dishes were disappointment. 1. Murgh lasooni ( big in sizes and tastes delicious) 2. Fish tikka ( moderate size but tastes delicious) 3. Mutton keema biriyani ( very good biriyani. Unique. Whole biriyani has keema mixed in and one big piece comes with it. 4. Chicken biriyani ( comes with a big chicken piece) 5. Kabooli nan ( very sweet .. not recommended at all, we could not finish it. It tastes very bad) 6. Murgh lajawaab ( chicken sizes are small and taste very average. Not so much recommended) 7. Firni ( very tasty and its recommended) In beverages we took fresh lime soda and cold drinks. I think this goes best with biriyani.. not mocktail. But there are many mocktail options here. For car parking, its free and they help us. They have their own spaces.
