Khanti Damodaar Seth

It was an awesome experience at the Khanti Damodar Seth. We ordered the fish diamond fry,bhetki paturi,basanti pulao,chicken gondhoraj pakora,mutton dakbanglow,ampanna along with a coke. Every item of the bengali cuisine was scrumptious. The mutton pieces were greatly cooked. One should try their vetki paturi must.overall the ambience, the behaviour and the food were totally value for money.

This was one of my most amazing overall experiences in a restaurant. And believe me when I say this - It's totally worth it. This restaurant is in 1st Floor. You can easily spot it. From the food to the atmospheric experience, it's all fantastic for me. Everyone's happy when they feel their money's well spent and I think you won't argue with me here in this place. It's a must try for me. ✌🏻

Located just beside the Charuchandra College. The atmosphere is really good and it'll definitely remind you of that iconic character Damodar Seth written by Rabindranath Tagore. We ordered Mahabhoj Non-veg thali, still I can't remember the name & it cost 950/- + GST. So many items are over there (check images), I'll not name it separately. Rice & Pulao quantity was not enough for two people, though they mentioned it. So, we ordered extra rice and Mutton was replaced with Kacha Lanka Murgi as per our choice. Sukto was just too delicious and the restaurant maintained its delicacy. Pulao, Begun Bhaja, Aloo posto, Sona moong Dal, Jhuri aloo Bhaja, Chingri malaikari, Aamer Chutney were tasty. Kacha Lanka Murgi really tastes different. Fulko Luchi always tastes best but I think they forgot that. Bhetki Paturi could be better. One thing I would mention to the restaurant, it's a pure Bengali restaurant and music should be in Bengali language not in Hindi. The overall experience was good. You can pay a visit once.

Poila Boishakh 2023 couldn't be better. Tried Vetki Fry as starter, followed by Basanti Pulao, Vetki Paturi and Mutton Kosha as in the main course. We chose Gondhoraj Ghol and Aampora Shorbot as our choices for beverages. Quantity, quality and taste wise the food is really good. Mutton was succulent. Basanti Pulao was really delicious. Vetki Fry was quite tasty. Overall a good experience. Only the A.C. wasn't working on the fateful day. 😔

Went to this Bengali restaurant which is located near Lake market few minutes walking distance from lake mall they had fine dining area with large room and comfortable seating along with beautiful ambience and soothing Bengali songs and music now coming to the food their menu is quite elaborated with numerous choice of thalis which were quite affordable and have decent quantity too but it was shocking that they don't serve dum alu which was quite disappointing otherwise everything was good.
