Hooked On Pasta

Last Saturday i.e. 28th October, had been to Flame and Grill restaurant. As usual, the buffet was definitely mouth-watering. We ordered some kebab items for a kid and they served the same happily. We had ordered beers as well. The prawn and chicken kebabs were definitely a must try. A must visit place for the Buffet lovers.

We had the buffet lunch. We went at around 1pm on a Sunday and did not face any waiting time. However there was soon a big waiting line. The seekh starters were good. The chicken options were better, chicken wings being the best. Fish options were not that much good in taste (both basa and prawn). Mutton kebab was also not that satisfactory. Very less veg options provided, only tandoori aloo, gobi, paneer and crispy babycorn. A veg pizza was also served which was very disappointing in taste. Quantity of starters served was adequate and were repeated quite a number of times. Main course had usual options of North Indian, Bengali and some Chinese items. The mutton biryani was good. I loved the dessert items. Hot jalebis were available in the live counter. The gulab jamuns, rice kheer, daal halwa, ice creams; I loved them all. Soda based mocktail options were only two on the menu, we ordered a leechi flavoured one, which had excessive syrup and didn't taste good. Overall experience was satisfactory. Good for family or group outing. Washroom was very small and not quite clean. Sitting area is quite big and can accomodate large groups.
