A very popular and nice metro station located at Garia Bazar area of South Calcutta, and few minutes walking distance away from the Garia crossing/ Garia 5 no. and 6 no. Bus stands.

First time traveling in metro, my experience was very well.. I had a good service. Also I saw a "wow momo" centre inside the metro station. It was pritty busy, as it connects Goria bazar.

Kavi Nazrul Metro Station (formerly Garia Bazar) is a metro station at Garia, a part of the Kolkata Metro.It is named after the poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. It goes from shahid Khudiram toh kavi shubhash and from shahid Khudiram to dakhineshwar . The windows of the metro should be washed because they eventually get damaged and then over the years the metros become disgustingly dirty. The seating is pretty good I believe , but there should be officers in the compartment to avoid any harm , assault , abuse inside the metro.

It's a very nice metro station for Garia Bazar Area. Well connected with Garia Sonapur Baruipur. Station is very neat and clean, well maintained and well designed. You will get Bus, Auto, Taxi, Toto, Rikshaw from main road for other places.
Three-Four ticket counter is there. You can get instant ticket (token) and smart card also. Wow Momo counter is here for quick bites.

Kavi Nazrul is one of the stations in Kolkata Metro. This place is also known as Garia Bazar. A neat and tidy, well maintained platforms that cater to over 200000 daily commuters. Doesn't have a parking lot for the cars around, considered to be a major short coming of this station.
