Best Bar for me in Kolkata. Value for money. Peanut Masala, Aaloo Tikki, Chilli Garlic Pepper Fish are must try - especially for people like me who like medium or non spicy food. Very well behaved waiters. Service is excellent - they repeat without hesitation. They serve complimentary badaam, chanachur and one of the few bars left in Kolkata that gives complimentary ginger dipped in vinegar - which is very important for me as it helps in digestion. If you get window seats, it is good as you can have a good view of surroundings. Excellent watering hole to spend quality time with good food and drinks on your own or with a group of friends. I was doubtful while entering the place as it was bar cum restaurant. Only expected the starter to be good like other BAR cum restaurants. But I was wrong and I found the food to be delicious . We ordered noodles ,pan fried chicken and chilly chicken and fresh lime soda. All the food was up to the mark. The price is reasonable considering the location.

This is one of the oldest Bar cum Restaurant in Salt lake. I loved this place. The food is very testy and price is also very reasonably competitive to others restaurants in salt lake. Location is also very prominent just opposite of city centre exit gate. But I think service is very good and need improvement including attitude of service boy Went there solo to enjoy Chicken Drumsticks with Whiskey. Heard about this place from friends and colleagues. Food and liquor prices are pocket-friendly. Not suitable for very large groups. Have a separate smoking enclosure. For some reason, the staff assigned to me was visibly rude - but service was okay. Lighting could have been better- but it's more of a watering hole than a bar/cum restaurant. For people visiting solo, this is a great place as there are many corner seats available to enjoy your food and liquor in peace. Food quality was okay. They provided normal drinking water separately which was nice.
