Located at perfect place near to city center. I have preferred Kalyan jewellers and specially like there temple jewellery collection. Customer service here is very good and welcoming . They tried to understand our choice and are clear about weight and charges for customisation. We did my friends wedding jewellery shopping from this place.

I got a very bad and toxic experience with Kalyan Jewelleries, Salt Lake, Kolkata yesterday 21.01.23. I purchased a gold ornament worth Rs 2.72 lakh. I had some old gold for exchange. What they did they melted the gold and then put in carrot meter. The melted gold were of three categories 16k, 19k and 21k. and the gold percentages were 70%,88%, 90% The new gold ornaments that I purchased, were just 22k and gold % was 91.6%. But while valuing the old gold they calculated gold percentage as 100% gold even when the new ornament was of 91.6%. They didn't pay any heed to the logic of selling gold with 91.6% purity and buying old gold with 100% purity. More over the assurance of gold exchange rate as zero as declared by them in the poster displayed in the shop with the bold picture of Bachchan was grossly denied. Further they did not give the discounted value of Rs 50 on gold rate which they displayed in the Shop. That was absolutely cheating and forgery by Kalyan Jewellers and in the name of Amitava Bachchan and we do feel very much insulted and cheated and utterly exploited. Given the situation kindly advice what should I do? To go to Court or to file action against Amitabh Bachchan who is supporting this unlawful business policy for his own personal benefit at the cost of middle class buyers of India. Samir Kumar
