The cafe has a nice bengali aesthetic touch. It's in a good location and not difficult to find. 6/5 for ambiance. Extra marks for the cute fluffy cat that was looking for some love from the customers. Food 4/5. It's a catch or a miss. Some items are tasty, and some are not. We took the spinach and corn sandwich. It was filling and tasty. The mocha was quite chocolaty too. But the city hype section of their menu is not for me. The coconut coffee was awful for me. I'm not built for that taste. It was literally just black coffee with coconut water. The brownie ice cream was ok. The brownie didn't feel fresh at all. But it wasn't bad. But will I order the brownie ice cream again? 👎 But there are plenty of other options in the menu to try. Will I visit again ? Probably yes, for the traditional coffees and safe options like fries and sandwiches. I wouldn't experiment with the other items in the menu, though. It's not super expensive. Mostly, the rate is within 200-300 for each item in the menu. The service is what I didn't like. Nobody was coming to take the orders or the bill. We literally had to walk to the reception to pay since no one was around. It's not a deal breaker for me, though. But I wouldn't tip that I usually do since nobody cared to provide good service. Was a bit disappointed with the food quality as it wasn’t at par with the pricing, the hot chocolate tasted like bournvita and the pasta was okayish, service was really fast and the staffs were friendly. The reasons to visit again would be the adorable cat at the outdoor area and the aesthetic interiors.

All over it was a good experience. As per price rate it's worth it. You have so many tables to seat. We didn't have to wait for the table. Food was good We ordered bbq chicken pizza and cappuccino for us. Pizza's cheese was fresh but the dough was hard for me, they can change the pizza dough otherwise it was nice But we enjoyed the coffee, that was so much good, we told them to do love shape and tree shape over cappuccino and they did it. All staff's behaviour was too kind. Go for it... By the way, they take extra service charge and also GST over their bill.

She lived here till her last breath. I went there because she is one of my favourite authors in Bengali literature. Bhalo Basa is the house of poet Nabaneeta Dev Sen. In Bengali, there are two meanings of this word 'Bhalo Basa' i.e., love and nice home. There are names of her father Narendra Dev and her mother Radharani Dev written on the plaque in front of the two-storey house. The groud floor of the house has been rented by Bunaphile cafe. This beautifully decorated cafe can be your next destination if you are a coffeeholic. But it is overpriced.

Excellent experience. Portion sizes were quite decent, as each main dish was enough for one person, and no one had any complaints about the quality of the food. Service was prompt. We couldn't finish the pork belly as the chunks were huge and fatty, so they packed it up for us. Wanted to try some desserts too but we were too full. There's also a lovely cat that rolls around on the footwalk outside and lets you pet them.
