Quick Google search of good taco place on trip from Houston to Austin and found this place. The tacos were slightly expensive 4-5dollars each but they are huge so it's well worth the price! One can probably feel you up. I order five thinking they were small so end up having 2 days worth of breakfast taco. Because of covid, looks like you can only order for to go only.

The food could have been better. When I got my tacos they were all greasy. Soo greasy to where the whole bag was greasy. I just felt like they could have done better.

The Taco Shack is a La Grange staple. The carne guisada with rice, cheese, and pico in a box (sans tortilla) with green sauce is my go to!

This was the perfect place to squash our mid-drive hunger pangs! The queue for the counter wrapped around the inside of the restaurant, which to me was a good sign of truly good food. We ordered a gordita, chorizo taco, and a brisket lunch plate. Plus a cup of horchata to end on a sweet note 😉 it was affordable and delicious!

These breakfast tacos are enormous and well worth the price. I bought two thinking that would be the same size as breakfast tacos in Austin. They were three times as big as what I'm used to, so I ordered way too much food.
